Way way back in the day, I was debating on buying a game with my own money, or teaming up with my brothers (as we often did) to buy one.
Tragic story short, we went home with Batman Forever for the SNES, which sucked mightily.
The game I didn't buy? Chrono Trigger. Yeah. ._.;
People actually BUY PC games? BWAHAHAHA! <_< Let me see... The only stinker I have in my collection is "Legacy of Kain" for the PS1. Ever since then I've hated WRPG's.
LittleBigPlanet, Rise of the Argonauts (although I've yet to trade it in), Too Human
I regret paying full price for (but not buying) Heavenly Sword and Star Wars: Force Unleashed
I usually torrent games and try them out before buying. The games that I have downloaded include but not limited to, starcraft, deadspace, far cry 2, cod4, fallout 3, bioshock, CS, left 4 dead, etc. I ended up liking and subsequently purchasing 4 of them which I deemed worthwhile.
Xenosaga PS2
And Xenosaga 2 PS2
FFXI. Peace to the past 5 years of my life.
I haven't regretted buying a console game in a long time. <3 Gamefly.
Oddly, I rented both GTA and Fallout and ended up buying both. If I had to pick one it would probably be Spore. I liked the game I just stopped playing it and haven't looked at it in months now.
Glover on the N64, GTAIV
Uh hmm lets see...
300 game for the PSP - Just god awful
Unlimited Saga - Game is only "fun" when you use cheats, which I did use.
Resistance 2 - I love multiplayer with more than 16+ players but I can't get myself to play it again specially with my data becoming corrupted.
Red Orchestra - Again. I love massive multiplayer battles but this just wasn't for me. Glad I bought it when it was 10$ or something like that on steam at the time.
Warhammer Online - 3 months ago I regretted buying it but now with changes I would try it again but not yet. I stoped at 31 because of how boring the grind was and ORVR didn't even exist until the october event tried to help it.
I have more but I'm busy right now to look through all of them. Oh nevermind I found one.
Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Battle 22 - Just youtube it. Fuck
GTA IV
I really liked others but lately I have been unmotivated to play and it has too many annoyances and cut scenes. It is an ok game just not worth full price.
Hellgate
Definitely the Stalker prequel. I loved the first one, but I'll be damned that I cannot get into the prequel. :\
Crackdown
Samurai Warriors Empire
World of Warcraft
Fable 2. I haven't returned a game to GameStop to salvage what little cash I can out of it for years, and this is the first time I've done it without owning the game for less than 5 years. I know Molyneux didn't want it to be some 150+ hour game you can never fully complete, but he didn't have to make it a game that only takes 25 hours to complete everything.
Infinite Undiscovery, sort of. The more that I accept that it's a crappy game with atrocious dialogue, the more I actually enjoy it. My feelings for it are best summed up when I described it to a friend as "Each time I play it, the impulse to slit my wrists is slightly weaker than the last time I had played it."
Too many, which is why I no longer buy games, problem solved!
Damn, a lot of people don't like GTAIV. I was actually thinking of buying it soon too. =\ I've already got GTA3 / Vice City / San Andreas for PC. Oh well.
