Do they seriously have 8 out of 10 on the box? That's how you know it's a bad game, since most metacritic scales start at 9.5.

MGS4 (omg!)

I didn't play the first 3 MGS games, so the story line was a complete whoosh. I'm not going to play the first 3 ever I bet either.

That is like jumping into Lost with the new season and judging the show by it. I've never face palmed harder.

Crisis Core, Kingdom Hearts 2, any GTA game after Andreas, Devil May Cry 2, The Sims, Spore, Blue Dragon(Kick up the ass for not using market demos, i guess), Crash Bandicoot: TWoC, and Infinite Undiscovery.

Thanks to the guy who mentioned Legend of Dragoon, I forgot to put that on my list. Interesting battle system and beautiful graphics for its time, but the story was clichéd to hell and back and the dialogue pissed all over grammar and usage to the point that it was a complete bastardization of the English language. Nobody with an IQ above 80 speaks the way those characters did.

Well if you look at the DLC for MGS4 on PSN there is an encyclopedia you can download that explains everything that occurs in all 4 MSG games. They even censor the MGS4 stuff until you have a completed game saved so you don't spoil stuff for yourself.

This was a big help when I played 4 and needed a refresher, since i didn't play 3.

Also SSBB isn't really a game you buy for yourself. Have one friend buy it and then when you got some people over just go at it - same for Mario Kart. Way more enjoyable that way.

I would've regretted buying Assassin's Creed if I had bought it.

Has anyone here played those GTA - Stories games? Liberty City Stories, etc etc. Never played one so I have no clue what they're about, but I'm kind of tempted to get a few today after work.

They're certainly solid games for your PSP. I can't imagine getting the PS2 versions though.

Call of duty 3 for the Wii and 360. Bought the wii version first since it was the shit at the time. Bought 360 last year after how boring the Wii version is and found out it's pretty much the same.
