As much as I dislike wopa, I don't think it's really anyone's place to be gossiping about other people getting their accounts banned. The whole idea of this list just seems like you are kicking people when they are down, regardless of whether or not you feel that SE is justified in banning them.

I mean, I don't see the point to this list, but if you're going to have one you can't hope to ever fill in all 950 names, so why not just limit it to people who volunteer their own or their friends (which is kinda dickish, too, but not the same as someone you don't like or don't know)? The whole thing just sits poorly with me, and I never personally duped, and frowned upon those who did.

I feel liberated.

There was possibly no better way to go, in a biblical purging of the endgame community that stretches far beyond the elite of our corner of the world. A philosophical T-Rex would be wrong to think "There will be no future without me," but he would not be incorrect to think "The future will never be the same." I leave without regrets, I am not remorseful of my 'crime.' I have walked the line between 'risk' and 'success' before, and sometimes you have to pay the price for the risks you take. If I was offered life again if I said "I am sorry," I would not do it. I have tried to quit before, but like a prisoner who has gotten too used to 'the life on the inside,' I always returned. Even with the keys to my cell, it took destroying the prison to finally be free.

As for the 'righteous' who now brand themselves over the 'exiled,' if you were given the knowledge can you honestly say you would not have acted the same? People are weak, and more often than not give in to temptation. You should not brand yourself as people of 'superior morals', but rather, of 'fortunate ignorance'. That said, I encourage other 'unfortunate' people to come forward if they chose. We should not be mourning our departure, but celebrating our freedom.
