As for the 'righteous' who now brand themselves over the 'exiled,' if you were given the knowledge can you honestly say you would not have acted the same? People are weak, and more often than not give in to temptation. You should not brand yourself as people of 'superior morals', but rather, of 'fortunate ignorance'. That said, I encourage other 'unfortunate' people to come forward if they chose. We should not be mourning our departure, but celebrating our freedom.

From a logical perspective here, I think that it is not in your best interest to report a bug like this once you have participated in it (even on accident). I can't find the thread right now, but I believe that you will be jailed for admitting you participated in an exploit. The amount of proof needed to jail or ban you becomes very small since you just admitted to it in an attempt to get on their good side as well.

Dealing with the ToS can become tricky at times. I'm not saying there are many in this situation when it comes to this particular instance, but I do know of a couple rare cases where they got people who I feel genuinely did not understand what was going on and were burned - not only because of the complexity of party shifting, but language barrier as well.

Also, since we're on the topic of borderline exploits, say I wanted to unload all the tricks I've seen or have been told of over the past years? How on earth do I do this and get taken seriously or get feedback? Blog about it (lol)? Such issues are things I think SE should consider in the future, like a bugs forum WoW uses.

Still, I actually somewhat agree with Map's post a few pages back where he says if you're going to go out, this is the way to go - if you're going to 'die', might as well go out in a raging ball of fire (or a 200,000 views in 24 hours BG thread).
