I am grateful to the person who blocked the information when someone else posted the dup trick on BG (was it Lordwafik?) I would certainly haved used it if I had known it in the first place. To be honest I think perma ban for Salvage/NI dup is really harsh. May be ppl who got banned should start a petition - ask SE to give your account back if you promise to throw away all Salvage/NI gear. And those who exploited sandworm and camp ops drop = sorry you deserve it.

BTW is that noisy taru Wopa gone? He really needs to go lol.

Also, IIRC you can tell if you got perma or not by the LS community website? Doesn't it show 'closed' accounts as greyed out, IE inactive?

it usually takes a bit for that portion of POL.com to update. its not instant.

Wow, Lyra getting perma'd sucks. The problem with what SE did was it's lack of a standard in it's banning process. It's completely random. Some people who were simply TH4 mules get suspended, others who abused it got a letter, others who used in minimally got perma'd. If there was a set "If you did this....LM11", "If you did this....LM-17", you'd probably have less than a backlash. Did that taru who got the very first mythic get perma'd?

Also, noticeda trend. It seems that the people with post counts under 1,000 are the moral highroad people.

I was happy when the dupe trick was fixed. Salvage just didn´t feel fun anymore with too many cells. Back then tho I dupe like 1000 alex. Just because the sheer amount of 30 000 seemed like the biggest pile ever.

I got a letter and only do Nyzul, we never did the 'dupe' trick (hell I was the only one that knew about it in our group that I know of), and have done salvage like three times in my life. Still logged on -- wondering if it's a generic letter to anyone whom has done these activities (between certain dates)?

It's safe to assume that I'm merely laughing at those banned because they think they were deserving of using the exploit and nothing would happen to them. If I knew how to do it I wouldn't do it, because unlike most of you, I read the ToS, and I know that using exploits doesn't make me any better than anyone else like you mercury people specifically seem to think you are.

Not really. My friend knew how to bot and pos hack (of course, not sure how many people didn't) and told some of us how to do it. No one did, which is why they are still playing. He got temp banned though then later quit.

I had no warnings either, and I only did maybe 10-15 duping runs and got one completed piece from it, and the tech support guy said it's a permanent ban. This is like the fucking FFXI apocalypse.

And before idiots start getting all high-and-mighty about it, keep in mind that most of the endgame people that knew their shit are gone now. Have fun logging into your truly dying game.
