There's some fault on both sides, but just cause the programming sucks, doesn't mean people have to exploit it. There's varying degrees of intent throughout this entire thread. Some exploited it out of curiosity. Some exploited it out of sheer greed. Others pretty much got turned into collateral damage. Aside from the last group, it was all a choice they knew was wrong to make, but made it anyway for whatever reason. The scope of blame that's placed on SE ends at a simple programming error. Saying SE's actual programming is the reason for all of this is beyond that scope.

Huge chunk of the blame is on the players that exploited it. Not so huge chunk is on whatever nutjob at SE's headquarters figures making thousands of people wait months and years for one drop in an instanced event is any form of acceptable fun. Very small chunk on the programming bug. SE really should have taken that into consideration before mass ban-hammering a ton of people, but as is, the actions today just show SE is placing all of the blame on the playerbase.

I actually think people like mini cheated, and cheated bad BUT they did it for unselfishness. After all he has the best gear in the game, and put in more work than some people will put in if this game goes for another 10 years. I think he was trying do what every leader of a ls should be doing. That being that he ensured his ls prospered and did well, but the way he went about it was wrong. SE retaliated Good guy gets banned for getting his hands dirty helping others. I am sure he feels bad because not only has he screwed himself over, but his fellow ls members that did salvage, thatwere obeying his leadership commands could now be banned for life. So be easy on the dude.

If you read more of my posts than just the one you'll see I said something should have been done to he players (roll backs, item removal etc etc) but not perma banned. I'm not gonna respond to the other idiots because this is a circle debate
