The funniest thing about this is that the elitist and exclusive attitudes of the people who got banned actually protected some of us from the risk of the banstick by keeping us in the dark. I guess if you think that 950 botting, arrogant, cheating endgamers getting banned is going to somehow make this game worse then there's not much any of us that are left can do for you.

I havent been to Aery in months, I was just basing it on the notion that FFXI Endgame is all about Fafnir. And I'm sorry buddy, but there are approx 4k people per server, and thats being generous. With 30 servers, taking out 950 cheating losers over those 30 servers isnt going to 'kill endgame'.

And I dont see why my MNK BLM NIN SAM BLU THF would need a Ridill for anyways?

If people play just to show their gear to random pixeled characters they'll most likely never see again nor remember their name after they stop playing then yeah, it's too bad.

If they play FFXI just for self-accomplishment like any other FF game (or any game, for that matter), then less people(=competition) equals to more chances to reach their goals, especially on the HNM scene. I personally belong to this category.

Who gives a damn when a character named Abcsephirothxyz checks you and sees you got a Ridill just to forget about it the day after?

Yeah, i guess it will effect endgame for about 2 weeks, just because -some- linkshells will need to replace some PLD with NQ ones, even then they proberbly have two or three good back-ups. Other than that stop trying to ease your pain by thinking we will be going down with you. Lick your wounds and scurry on.
