i'm sure this has already been said before like 50 pages ago but seriously-no one ever used a cheat in any game in their life? not only would you cast the first stone anyway, you'd probably kill jesus too. i'm not defending my actions, i already admitted it like 60 or 70 pages ago. it's not like the the dupers claimed your mob or killed the mob(s) the wrong way, we took advantage of treasure hunter 5. at this rate it seems like BG might as well ban every offender cause of their high standards.

And you don't think this impacted other players. It's been explained at least 20 times in this thread the impact that has. It makes it look like the drop rates are higher than they are... all this retarded justification... WyldFyre is not Bluefyre. Bluefyre was originally Bluefire on some other server, and had to change it when he worldshifted to Asura because Bluefire was already taken by another player (which I've never seen, but w/e).

I've been on Asura on this char for 430 days, and on my original mithra char with the same name for over 300 before it was worldshifted after I quit.

I'm not exactly sure what was so controversial about anything that SE did here. They caught people cheating in their online game and banned them. The controversy lies more within the community as people who once were considered by some to be special have been exposed as frauds. Watching them try to defend themselves using the same tired "u noob me leet" rhetoric that they used before they got banned is funny as shit.

It's controversial because not everyone has the same hatred for these folks that you seem to have.

Some people abused a bug and got banned for it. If they were douchebags, great. If they were nice people, that sucks.

I didn't get banned because I didn't know about the exploit, and wouldn't have used it anyways. Hell, I wouldn't even glitch my way through mammet fights in PMs back in the day--because I don't enjoy winning things that way--but that doesn't mean I'm gonna act like good people getting banned is a good thing; it sucks.

Make sure your credit card will be declined for when you get billed for Playonline. It'll change your LM-# message to one saying declined credit card or whatever.., when you pay up you can get back in. Although it goes without saying, you can never call a GM again or get a GM called on you. If you were kicked off the game while in Mordion Gaol, will not work either for obvious reasons. Enjoy.
