The active section is still showing a fair few. discounting mules and rmt i think its safe to say that the ban wasnt too huge a deal to not do it for SE.
sry dead game, only about 17 people left playing and none of them know how to kill fafnir
I guess my generous estimate was generous towards the losers who who got banned. Sorry D44kpunk;; Take your animosity towards SE/FFXI and put it constructively towards a WoW account? And before you comment "I WASNT BANNED LOSERFACE", I know, but you act like you were rofl.
Square Enix only have themselves to blame for their user's ignoring the terms of service. They've let RMT and 3rd party program users break the TOS and they showed us it didnt matter as GM after GM would ignore and excuse the TOS violators for 5 years of game inbalance and grief till they decided their bank accounts are big enough and their image tarnished enough to suddenly care and introduce the special task force.
Square Enix have themselves to blame for their drop rates in salvage so frustrating and disheartening that we exploit a bug found to compensate for SQUARE ENIX'S inadequacies. They should admit it, change it, and earn respect for their name as an entertainment company. I guess youd have to be a saint to do that. Instead, they blame their customers for being sick of putting the time in to earning the desired equipment and getting no results.
Some people took full advantage of this glitch and used it to triple Sandworm and BCNM drops, this felt like cheating and I left the linkshell affiliated with duping HNM. As far as salvage offenders go, recieving 3 usukane body per 6months seemed much more deserving than only 1 out of 8 dedicated hard working deserving players getting it per millenium. For these players they should have been forgiving.
I know lots of good people who were banned, SE only cares about their name not the people. Their desired customer database are the naive.
