The way windows manages programs and processes loaded, generally a running process can't know shit about anything else running on the same machine, only way to bypass this is through exploiting system bugs, good luck with that.

Heres a screenie I found in my windower screenshot folder (I thought I might have something) I took this when I was in jail another time while using plugins, I had TP plugin, distance, ExpWatch, recast and so on.

This was another time on another character, but it's clear here the GM didn't detect shit.

But I guess that's not proof enough right?

Edit: oh, and I had PL bot running on this one at the time PLing my other account and party, I didn't even realize I was in jail until I died from lack of cures lol

Hey hot shot what's up? I've never bought an account, gil or anything related to FFXI from any rmt websites or egaming bullshit whatever you call it website. If my account is banned I'm not coming back and will give out or sell to any stupid ffxi noob the only mule I have left which is Rotsu (the one I got from original Rotsu whos a rl friend of mine).

I've never been banned before and never bought any account, the time between march 28th and September 20th++ I got hacked and transfered to Garuda under the name Tinnen, so the so called rumors about me buying accounts while I was banned (hacked actually) aren't true.

Basically, he's saying what he has heard someone else say, but isn't confirmed -- at least until you stated that with Jhun banned, you are done with FFXI. I'm not trying to be a dick saying this, I just remember English wasn't your first language.

So it's also an assumption of yours that GMs have a miraculous "Scan" button they they use to check who is using plugins and bots? In that case I'll have you know I've had many friends GM called on them when they were botting, they were not AFK luckily and responded promptly, nothing came of it so this button doesn't exist.

I have to agree with W1z8it. The chances that a GM has a "Scan for Bots" button when jailing you is very low. With the new Auto-Jailer technology, it just scans the player actions for bot-like movements or actions that doesn't seem fit for how a player would react or perform.

Stepping in on the windower versus duping statements:
I used to play on the PC, but now play on the Xbox-360. There are some features of the windower I'd love to have, but I've played for years without and I am doing so now. When I played on PC, I was worried to death that they could detect even just the windower so I never used any of the plugins. I just liked being able to alt-tab to check web pages and browse forums. In actuality, the windower is cheating unless used simply as the windower, which no one really does anymore. I hardly ever see PC screenshots of just the game, but TP, location, cooldown on abilities, XP/hour, mob info, more. This is cheating even though it doesn't give you gil, armor, attack, it is giving you advantages over those who do play on PS2/Xbox/senza windower addons. To say that they should play on PC and use those is like advocating the duping. "Everyone can do it so it's ok, right?" Not to go back and use a bad analogy, but everyone can rob a store, so it's ok right? [Edit: Especially the added lines for macros. Oh god, I'd love more than 6 lines when trying to make a BST macro. I can't even get all my AF and light staff+Charm on a single macro.]

Overall, I prefer the Xbox 360 because of how I personally have it set up. It's a smaller TV in the living room so I can sit and chat with friends who are watching TV, if they are not there I can watch TV, I can lay back on the couch instead of some back-aching computer chair meant to comfort your back but actually doesn't, and the controller seems to make it just a tad more fun... Though the chatpad does take a bit of adjusting too -- it's like a larger phone and sending text messages.

Edit: And for the second half of Jhun's message that I accidentally cut off: A lot of call centers have stats that they need to worry about, usually something like Calls taken and time on call versus calls on hold and abandoned calls (Hang up before answer). These metrics can be the exact reason why they were so rushed to just get you off the line. Not meeting their metrics means they'll possibly lose their job. I know it sounds retarded to have "Customer service" that isn't really customer oriented at all, but call almost ANY call center and you'll get the same thing. They are just trying to get a paycheck, however they are no the ones that dictate what can and can't be done. Some of these people really do want to help, but the resolution to your issue might take too long and have to be escalated to someone who actually doesn't care or don't have the ability and will have to escalate the issue to someone who either doesn't care or are not allowed. Almost anything can be tracked on a computer. The time you log in, the time you log out, the WEB PAGES THAT YOU VISIT AND HOW LONG YOU VISIT THEM, errors are saved to a log, programs installed usually are added to registry, but on the opposite end are not usually removed from registry when you uninstall them. I promise you that there is a record of almost every program or application you have ever run on your PC.

I have offered several concepts of proof, a screenshot of me in jail with plugins running, pointing to the STF report every month lacking any bannings for any plugin that does not repeat a specific action, or anyone for using windower, along with my experiences dealing with GMs while running plugins, packet, and memory scans, friends being called on by GMs while botting (not only friends, it's common knowledge botters use tell bots for detection of GMs when AFKing), yet all you can say is how you've made this fantastic logical assumtion, yet you fail to provide even a single sentence to backup your nonsense lol.

• First, Punkbuster is a stand-alone application which isn't required to play any game it supports.

• Second, Punkbuster have a ToS in itself that clearly states exactly what it does which you approve when you install it.

• Third, a company cannot legally add process reading without formal information and rewriting their ToS/Contract with the user to include such an action. This since we're talking about integrity laws and reading processes outside of their own enviroment. This rewrite must also be consented by the user prior to be called in effect due to how integrity laws work (at least how it works in US and in accordance with most EU countries laws).

Can such a process be added however, yes of course it can. This function cannot be added in advance without formal information and intent about such a function and in addition SE needs your prior consent to actually run such a scan on your computer from you.

So in order to introduce this, they essentially have to legally give a formal heads up to do so. This since they try to read something outside of their own enviroment and essentially ask end-users to give up some of their own personal data to them.
