I was in a sky LS back in the early era of endgame activity on my server so I can't really comment directly what was going on back then, but I remember friends telling me how they would see Fafnir and Nidhogg up for a looooooooooong period of time lol. There used to be a lot of MPK wars back then too with the JP and NA LSes lol iirc. I think it was CronosXIII and some other LS that were the top dogs in the beginning?

I don't know if Cronos were the first or not but they're the ones I remembered because all those JP fags from Cronos registered for ballista at one point and picked on my lil noob ass and owned the shit outta me back when ballista was just released. All their rangers were wielding krakens and ridills and all wars were rocking ebodies and what nots. This was like really really when ballista just came out before the Ranger patch so every RNG were doing like 1500 slugs in the matches which made me wanted to quit ballista.

Oh god I invented so many curse words then it wasn't even funny lol....

The spiders were nuts. Someone always had a spider or too. Hell, I know some people from some highly respected LS today that did some MPKing way back when. I will not say any names. At the time it was Bonkurarz (sp, and JP) and Checkmate (NA). Just before Checkmate's leader left, a few members left and formed another LS and the rest reformed under a different LS. Now you had 4 LS's because the NA split and the JPs formed another. Shortly after that, they started spawning exponentially as more and more people hit level 75 and they wanted an LS, but wanted to play with their friends that got to 75 with, etcetcetc... So crazy.

Sky was fun in the beginning too. Checkmate was first NA LS on Unicorn to kill all Gods and most ground NMs. Then as there became more LS, sky became infested with people and getting any pop items made you want to cut your wrists.

And Kirin took 4 hours because the only way to kill him was to drain all his MP and you had all the WHM, BLM, DRK, and RDM's casting Aspir even if it was 4 mana stolen and you took Stone IV and Tornado, but ran from Stonega. CFH Zerg on the adds.

You never meleed a boss because you were feeding it TP and it was going to spam AoEs on your group and you'd wipe -- or so everyone thought.

They may not ban because of legal issues or they don't want to ban "half of their playerbase". But of course they know if someone is running windower and plugins.
