Any players caught cheating will be severely penalized. If the investigation, which may include log checks and other various investigation techniques, reveals that the player has gained an unfair advantage, the account will be immediately suspended and reviewed by the Account Admin for permanent account termination.

So they did log checks, saw that people spread the dupe technique, and most likely went "DON'T TELL THE GM'S LOL" and shit as well. Ooops now you're banned. Boo fucking hoo.

My point is if I got caught cheating I wouldn't be here Q_Qing about it because I know that there is a very high chance of being banned if you cheat. Stop trying to blame SE when these people knew the risk of cheating.

What I said was you're a hypocrite if you're jumping up and down about banning all the salvage duping but was able to justify anything in this game that is won under "questionable" circumstances, like AV (pre-nerf) and PW. Ignoring that part and answering with, "oh I'll go play the game anyway."

My whole point is that if you're on your high-horse over r/ex or cell duping, not sellable duping, but somehow believe that other questionable actions in this game are a-okay, then you're a complete hypocrite. You attacked any duping, period.

I firmly believe that the difference or r/ex and sellable duping are two completely different things in this regard. One has personal gain only, the other has potential for economy damage (although if anything it'd lower prices.)

I agree somewhat. The ban is done, good for the rest of the community. What irks me is people popping into BG to talk about how they were entitled to cheat, or bitching that their friend who was a cheat got banned, so now they have no reason to live.

It's pitiful. I busted my ass in this game for years, and don't have all the finest things, and I'm fine with it, because it's all really mine. Not through stupid trickery and exploits. It's like people who used to have no fun in console games without a game shark. I'm an old school true gamer, and those types of things go against the entire spirit of who I am and why I play. It's about challenge, not circumventing the massive amount of work a programmer puts in to bring joy to people.
