I had no warnings either, and I only did maybe 10-15 duping runs and got one completed piece from it, and the tech support guy said it's a permanent ban. This is like the fucking FFXI apocalypse.

And before idiots start getting all high-and-mighty about it, keep in mind that most of the endgame people that knew their shit are gone now. Have fun logging into your truly dying game.

No, they're banning people because they used an exploit. Even the best programmer in the world won't get everything right 100% of the time. They threatened to ban people too if they kept using the Wall of Justice on AV, and they banned people for using the body exploit to make gil. What exactly made you think they wouldn't try to ban people for this? Because so many did it it was suddenly ok?

No because the trick was known for more than 1.5 years and after they fixed it it took them 2+ months to ban people, and form my understanding the JPs knew this for more than 1.5 years.

They said in thier report that they have scanned/checked 1 year worth of logs right? if so I think the best way would just remove the obtained items/drops as a punishment not ban them lol.
