Yeah, since people were too busy complaining about frivolous things like cheese sandwiches and Absolute Virtue for the past year, instead of reporting real problems that actually affect the playerbase. I didn't even know there was a problem with drop rates in Salvage until they patched the exploit and learned about it during the fallout.

They ban one kind of TOS violator (salvage duping people) and not another (windower plugin users). We've established that it's a different can of worms according to your moral barometre and probably mine too, but it's the same shit in the TOS.

Okay, but if they always ban one kind of TOS one way and always ban one kind of TOS the other way... that's being consistent. From the dawn of both Windower and Duping, it's been that way.

You know breaking a law doesn't always result in the same punishment. Hell, breaking the same law doesn't result in the same punishment depending on the situation.

Yea I'm jealous over a game item....whatever. People broke the rules and now have to pay for it with bans be it perma or temp. And yes it's silly and kinda harsh banning those with clean accounts but...I'm pretty sure SE doesn't take to kindly to those that dup items on their online game. That's why such harsh actions taken. And yes they got some and missed some.

It's been confirmed they aren't done banning yet. If you contact and talk to them some agents will pretty much tell you this isn't it.

I obtained all 7 of my salvage upgrades legitimately, but unfortunately not all of my friends can say the same. Fact is, doing this because you think you're more entitled than other people isn't why anyone duped - everyone had the access to if they wanted to. There is no competition in an instanced event like Salvage. Botting on the other hand, CHEATING using a 3rd party tool, is an example of thinking you deserve claim and items more than the rest of the community. This is not cheating, but moreso lying and being dishonest customers - which is still bad, sure, but not in the way you are saying.
