People bot fafnir and shit because otherwise they would take just as long to get a ridill as it would to get full usu if they didn't. I don't think people who bot are bad people, but just like duping it's clearly breaking the rules. People who got banned knew the risk when they duped, and they get to live with the consequences.

I really like this post. And I agree with all that he said. SE made a mistake that some players discovered and used to their advantage. So SE's way of dealing with ours (players who used the glitch and SE for not thoroughly testing their software) is to ban us.

You can't put all the blame on SE for this. Ya they had a bug in the software, the problem is people took advantage of this bug. It's pretty hard to defend against a bug where an item is duped.

You guys just lost the people who pioneer more than half of endgame content for you and do most of the testing. Celebrate now, but next time SE releases an event it'll be your buffer that suffers.

I got from this: ~3mil from Alexandrite and selling 35 pieces, 35 Ares body, 35 Morri hands, 15 Ares/Morri hands, and I got Askar Manopolas.

I whored the hell out of that trick, but I can honestly say I would have been lotting unopposed on all those drops anyway. Also, the best part of the trick wasn't getting drops, it was having your friends get drops too. I will be highly highly surprised if I don't have a permaban.

In the end though, I had an exit plan timed for 4-6 months from now anyway. Was going to sell all my stuff and set up my old friends from a social with about 5mil each, then give the rest to Rich so he could get a relic. Now Rich is banned and I'm banned, so what the hell, might as well move my timetable up a bit.

edit: And to all the people STILL celebrating other people's losses out of some misplaced victim mentallity, remember this is a game and try and relax a bit. Some of these people have lost years of work and alot of good friends, tone it down a bit. They are getting enough punishment already.

SE should really have taken a cue from blizzard and just deleted the items. Having all of these people come back to missing salvage gear they paid for would have been good enough w/o losing 1000 of the best players.

People have gone 0/150 on Chelonian, and some people who cant even get to that NM(sadly). When youve done salvage for a year, doing your 7 assaults a week and 2hours assault a night and actually working hard to accomplish your objectives inside the salvage battleground to unlock and pop NM's that have a 1/100 chance to drop(possible even only see 1/6months) and having to lot with 3-4 other people who've earned it just as much as you have is bullshit, and thats why it seems fair to split a drop 3 ways. I dont see how SE can blame people to the point of perma ban. SE even is considering changing the drop rate as well, but not until theyve made us wait long enough for all this to happen.

You don't seem to understand, son. Your duping is the cause of your own shitty drop rate. In short, you only have yourself to blame.

SE looked around and saw plenty of salvage gear comin in. Once they realized it was due to dupes, they fixed it *and* increased the drop rate to compensate.

Wouldn't it have been great, if people didn't dupe, and this SE would have been able to up the drop rate over a year ago?

Personally I'm not going to condemn or condone anyone that was affected by today's banning. We all knew this would happen eventually at some point or another. I hope those who have been permanently banned will move on to bigger & better things. But in all honesty, there is no logical point to cry over something that was anticipated.

And for those that feel that the TOS doesn't apply in this matter, what do you think that your accepting every time you play? The simple fact is this; don't cheat, and you have nothing to worry about.
