Contrary to what some might think, this really doesn't bother or affect me. I'm just enjoying this drama and the trolling to be had from it whilst it lasts. I mean, it's not every day SE bans 950 of their game's "greatest" players, is it?

But really, the moment I shut down Firefox and shut my computer down, I really won't give a shit about any of this. Sucks people got banned, but fuck, it's entertaining for those who said it'd happen.

Nice 5/5 Aurik, {Good job} as you obviously got that without duping, or lucked out when the banmobile went for a ride through Vana'diel.

Ok I dont know if this is the correct area to post this question, but I will post anyway. If I can get this answered without a complete flamethrower pointed at my rear and an all out flame war started against me, it would be cool.

I understand how and why people got banned, but what EXACTLY was the glitch that lead to this massive ban or rather how was it performed? I am just curious, this is the very first time I have ever heard of it.

Titan (as well as most of the "quiet" servers) have most definitely gotten hit.

I know at least 10 people on Titan (ye olde server) that would abuse the hell out of the exploit.

If they're not just keeping it quiet, then it's because SE is hitting the servers is two chunks.

Probably have a bet pool on how many accounts will be sold before they get banned.
