Ok I dont know if this is the correct area to post this question, but I will post anyway. If I can get this answered without a complete flamethrower pointed at my rear and an all out flame war started against me, it would be cool.

I understand how and why people got banned, but what EXACTLY was the glitch that lead to this massive ban or rather how was it performed? I am just curious, this is the very first time I have ever heard of it.

You could try and search for it, but I also know how hard it is to search for things on the forums here. So here's how it worked.

All you did was make three different parties of at least two people and form an alliance. You'd then engage a mob that you were fighting disband the alliance before it died and tada you get three seperate treasure pools. Something so simple for such a serious thing. Wish I never knew about it tbh. Oh well lolz

In specific zones of the game, these players were able to obtain triple the fruits of their effort, in which they obviously did not earn.

Its not like they hid it from others because they were scared the word would get out. They were 100% open about the situation, which shows they had no clue that they were doing something wrong.
