Zone of the enders 2 and Mass Effect. ZOE2 especially because it's become a cult classic or whatever and is impossible to find in good condition.

My Dreamcast actually broke a couple weeks after they stopped supporting them and I so miss being able to play MvC2. Sitting on my shelf in pristine condition.

I regret selling Persona on PS1. I sold it when I got rid of most of my PS1 stuff for a PS2 and only got like $3 for it. It sells for like $100+ now on Ebay.

I also used to have Rez on PS2 which I sold to a friend for $10, and it sells for about $50 nowadays.

Basically 98% of the games bought between me and my siblings are still in the family somewhere - my goddamn brother has the NES and SNES and seems intent on keeping them forever, via the "Well dude you have a PS3 and stuff, what do you need these for?" defense.

However, when I was probably 8 or 9 years old, we had a truly epic game, that being Shadowgate for NES. However, Shadowgate had a habit of brutally murdering you, the player, in completely arbitrary and graphic (text-based) ways. And considering I was 8 or 9 years old, this scared the fuck out of me. Nightmares, cold sweats, the whole thing. Plus I was too young to properly solve the puzzles. To solve this problem, my brother traded Shadowgate to a friend for Super Mario Bros 3.

Now clearly SMB3 is a great game, but I miss my Shadowgate! I remember it's genetic sequel, Deja Vu - don't remember anyone that's ever played it, but I saw it in Nintendo Power and my pangs of childhood regret peaked.

I think that Shadowgate even might've had a Chupacabra. ~tear~

These deaths were often graphically described in the game's text (along with often sardonic and humorous comments), even in the NES version (regardless of Nintendo's policy of censorship at the time)

Die Hard Trilogy for PS1, something about disarming a bomb by running it over made me lol.
