all in all i'm extremely underwhelmed. after all the hoopla i was expecting a one way trip to mordion gaol, where the friendly, helpful staff of GM's would be standing by to facerape me with a lionfish on a stick until i repented my EVIL WAYS.

but nope. just a nasty letter from SE in my box, saying i sucked and was bad, and should feel bad about it. they suggest sending a feedback email about the experience.

Alexander - Slayor NOT perma banned despite that being what SE told him when he called them, he just logged back on the game today.

So ppl, even if you got told perma, pls dont give up but try to log on. Apparently SE lies.....or something...

Siren still at 0, not surprising. Alot of us knew this was going on, but generally we figured since it's easily traceable, SE would gun people down for it eventually. So we kept doing it the proper way.
The people who have been doing salvage consistently now have 3-4 pieces, and full sets are rare amongst NA (and there's no mythics, not even close!), but hey, we're all still playing, so I'd say we got the better end of this deal.

So, as far as backwater server goes, we knew it was going on, and what the result was, but not the exact details of how it worked. We just predicted SE's response quite well.

As a sidenote, i can guarantee that i know of at least 4-5 JP groups that were using this, none of which have been banned. Looks like SE gave NA's gave this round of bannings to NA/EU only?

All the JP players I know that had bans had permas, and they're now able to login to their accounts. Whatever.

Actually i could see morrigan being one of the more legit users. She/he has like an entire slave army who give her everything. I'm assuming the only logical reason for this slave following is that it's a she, and she's hot.

Well, i know people knew about it, and i know it wasn't being used. A little logical assumption leads me to believe that others came to the same conclusions we did about SE's probable response. There could be other reasons, but same results in the end, no?
