Funny thing is that there are a few opportunity where this whole situation could have been brought up to light, that could have resulted in immediate fix or even lesser consequences...since SE seemed to be fkn srs on salvage.

I mean I made a thread over that JP blog saying how you can get multiple permit a day with wyrmseeker flag, and they patched it the very next day or something.

I think Wafik and/or some other mods went and deleted every threads that tried to brought this to light before the maintenance that prevent the duping, but it was mentioned on the thread that some BG mods definitely issued a gag order.

Not saying that it would have definitely changed anything...oh well, back to your dose of Schadenfreude~

So my question is why would you be stupid enough to jepordize your account which has relic weapon(s) over a stupid dupe exploit? sounds utterly retarded that people thought SE was just gonna let people get away with duping and take no action.

Why put yourself in this situation? I am just curious because I find it funny that people are so surprised they were banned.

Um...yes, they do. Most of them play the game too, but I'm willing to make an educated guess that 90% of them don't give a crap about a bunch of banned players unfortunately. What was your point?

So you don't think that seeing a thread full of people who not only admit to Duping but who also rationalized it as being completely fair and repeatedly stating how SE wouldn't do a thing wouldn't piss SE off?

I mean if it's such a known fact that SE reads this board, how the hell could people be so stupid as to openly discuss how they were breaking SE's rule and that they were entirely proud about it and not think they'll do something in return? I don't know about you, but if I ran a wildly popular MMO and was in this situation, where I could see a bunch of dicks not only exploiting the game, but bragging that they'd get away with it, I'd take action and enjoy the repercussions of the massive QQing as a result.

If I was to make a guess, it was more on the fact of not making it "advertised by BG" then to keep a gag order on how to do it. Though, I guess this could be said for both halves. Some to keep it a secret, others because they don't want a "I lernt how 2 du et on BG" threads.
