Been going back and playing some old classic games, and forgot how good the music was.
oh and this one because I <3 Naoshi Mizuta as a composer:
It is so simple yet it is one of my favorite boss themes ever.
soooooooooooo good
Double Dragon: Neon has triggered a nostalgia boner that won't go away D:
Also somewhat relevant, lol
On a Metal Gear Solid kick.
Saw some Shadow of the Colossus, but I didn't see my favourite.
I can listen to that shit all day.
I know not many liked the 3rd Phantasy Star game, but it still had some cool music.
Hellion Sounds, PSO, Final Fantasy, etc.,
Spoiler: show
FEAR 1 had such good AI, but they had to fuck it up for console release for F2 and F3.
Scripted AI in one but they were really well done and smart as shit. 2 and 3, dumb as bricks.

One of the most memorable BGMs man... as soon as I heard that first "We are going to have to act"... it all came back.
Also reminded me of the one that has that "I'm a mechanical man" or something like that in it. Those two will always be in the back of my mind somewhere.
Mechanical Man was good shit. C&C music in general was good times. It's like if Trent Reznor toned his shit down to PG13 and threw it in a video game.
Speaking of industrial rock:
(And yeah, I'm aware Trent did the Quake 1 soundtrack... But it's not as good as Sonic Mayhem's stuff. Just the honest truth)
