I'll give you a better reason. They work for IGN. This means they're 24 and a day and don't know anything about animation.
And another, for free: They're a terrible writer and had a deadline coming and they were on the hook for creating a story that would create millions of ad impressions without much effort.

These would only make my top 100 if I could not think of 100 animated TV shows, which I probably couldn't. The anime is fairly terrible compared to how the manga works (well not really in Bleach's case, manga and anime are slow as fuck). The manga I'll rate high, but the anime is nothing special at all compared to soooooooooooooooooooooo many others.

I'll give simpsons credit, it has been on the air since time began, but hoo boy has the quality dipped the last few years. Looney toones should have been #1.

Glad beavis and butthead were as high as they were, was a great show; i don't think even southpark has made me laugh as much as B&B. No Metalocalypse on the list at all = fail. My favorite of any Adult Swim cartoon.

Suprised at no iterations of Mickey Mouse & crew. I never liked them personally, but they were pretty huge. Also, wtf@ no Gummibears. Man up, we all watched it.

Where the hell was "The Jetsons"? And the fact they put shows on their list that have only had 1 season so far was pretty bold & don't belong up there. List should have been titled "Our edit's favorite 100 cartoons of all time"

No, but considering TTGL is extremely recent, (for regular English anime fans, at least. Is it even done airing on the SciFi Channel?) and the entire list is a giant nostalgia wank, I'm not really surprised it didn't make it on the list.

I rate Bleach and Naruto as my favorite 2 because they are both unfinished and i'm currently enjoying watching them and seeing what will come out of them. Once Bleach and Naruto are finished and if they end up sucking, they'll probably no longer be a favorite, or atleast ranking worthy of top 10.

Don't laugh at what others like/don't like, nobody is going to fully agree with someone else on every single thing. If I wanted criticism for my personal choices i'd be a homosexual.
