Maybe it's just me, but it seems like medium drums on GH: Metallica is just a tad slower then Medium drums with Hyperspeed on RB2?

Honestly if your having trouble with it, one thing you can do is during all the the fast strumming areas, just hold down green the hold time, strum fast, and then don't let go and whenever another note comes up try and hit it with your other fingers. During the sections where its gallops then breaks in between, if your not able to stop strumming then pick it back up, then just strum the whole time.
You'll be in the yellow red most of the time but as long as you pass it it's ok. I haven't played it on hard so not sure if the strumming is fast on that.
Picked it up today, definitely enjoy the tracklist more than GHWT. I'm not a huge Metallica fan, but I'll admit some of those songs are fun to play.
I must've played Toxicity about 25 times tonight though lol.
I was debating picking this up, guess it's a yes. I still have the old guitar though from GH2, fuck.
All of the RB1 stuff is compatible with this, right?
if you cardboard mod the select button for precision activation the xplorer is the best controller because its wired and one piece instead of detachable at the neck. the only thing better than it is a store demo GH3 les paul because those are wired but impossible to get unless you/someone you know works in retail. but if you dont play for score the lack of precision activation doesn't matter
Most likely. Unless you are talking about Wii, not 100% if the RB1 stuff works yet.
@Buckethead I agree the Xplorer is nice. I play on PS3, I just recently got a TAC converter with a SG. It is easily the best combo for people who play on PS3 in my opinion I love that thing, only cost like 10 bucks for the guitar to.

That is a fairly popular mod from what I hear.
Is the demo GH:WT guitar wired? I was not aware if there was one. If it is wired, then I would say the LP would be better because the LP has easier to push fret buttons, and I suppose people don't like the big star power button on the WT guitar. But its personal preference if they we were both wired if you ask me.Originally Posted by Izembo
no worthless gimmick touchpad is why, for me anyway; its probably equivalent, I've had two worldtars start doublestrumming and both of them had ghoststrumming problems with the touchpad, maybe I'm just biased >.> I love the LP though, and everyone else who plays for score seems to use it too, they [activision] must have gotten something right
the demo guitars for ghwt are wired, i dunno i like my wt guitars more than the lp
