I wonder how they're going to figure out it's the wrong Asuna with them. Will the fake Asuna reveal herself? Will Asuna escape somehow on her own? Will they go through the gateport and then somehow find out about it and have to go back? As it looks now the fake Asuna is acting like a flawless Asuna, not sure how they'd figure it out unless Nodoka randomly used her little ring on her or I guess one of the 15ish new Pactios that are being schemed up does it.

I personally enjoyed the chapter. I thought the pacing was fine, and there was a lot of text.

I love the pacing on this manga, mm. Story progression without feeling rushed or empty. No epic scenes (maybe crushing the containment field casually or MegaNegi Declothes Beam), but quite good.

I loved the chapter in overall thought. Yue has always been my favorite, and anything with her is a plus. Cant wait for the rest next week.

Naked Beam is kinda ridiculous, and I had... kind of hoped the series was past---oh, who am I kidding, everyone knew that was coming. Forget Rakan's board; every major power upgrade Negi gets now, there will be another Naked Beam scene with an increasingly powerful effect to show scale. By the theoretical end of the city, I predict at least a global depantsing.

Though it IS kind of funny that it has Selective Cloth Removal and always (or almost always?!) makes sure to leave panties.

Sigh, analyzing fanservice... Yue and Nodoka have been my favorites, as well, and probably the only people that treat the situation sensibly (maybe Ako before clearing up the confusion). I do prefer stories involving them.

Not that Rakan is entirely trustworthy, either! I'm happy to see the Konoka/Setsuna pact, finally. We've seen Magisters form pacts with other Magisters, to awesome effect in one case at the very least, but I believe this will be the first time we see two active pacts on one person. If it doesn't negate or overlap Setsuna's old Pact. It shouldn't overlap it, at the very least, since it's an Evidence of Growth Powerup, but it might cancel out her old pact power. I dunno, Ken makes this stuff charming and interesting, I'm actually quite intruiged by how he'll handle this technical issue.

The Ala Rubra people doesn't seem to have that much enmity toward negi's mother, and the princess even said that she was sorry she couldn't do anything about his mother.

I'd imagine she did something along the line of causing the destruction to free asuna or something.

Oh well, I just want that guy to stir Negi a bit more before he bust out magia erebea, maybe this time with berserk mode activated, that'd be fucking awesome.

yeah but if he starts using erebea, kenny may throw in a plot twist to expand negis life or revive him if he dies, because at the rate and how much power he uses when activate erebea he wont live long{ not to mention the encochment has already started}.
