I'm just curious how the pact will works since none of magical power...looks like you can make a pact with anyone.

Well Rakan's energy blasts count as magic as we see by Asuna's sword being able to cancel them out, so magical power doesn't necessarily mean spells. In that case I'm pretty sure Kotarou is like Rakan -- he has magical power, he just doesn't incant spells. His the wolf shadows summonings against Albireo and the shadow flares he used on Rakan were most likely magical energy.

Not a lot happened but right after the Negi/Rakan battle I guess you can't hope for too much too fast. He usually doesn't take breaks mid battles, so I hope he used the week effectively to plan ahead for the end of the Mundus arc

I just want update on Rakan vs Fate or the Govt General coming out tbh, but I'd be a retard to expect more from Akamatsu at this point...so it's back to the romance comedy cooldown for the next few chapters I guess.

It will be over next week. I would be really surprised if he spent more than half a chapter on Kotarou

There will probably be a chapter for each of the girls yet to be pactio'd, don't expect otherwise. We're seeing the downside to having 38-some-odd secondary-main characters. Still, it was entertaining, about what I expect from Negima. While I like the intruige and action, I don't really read Negima for a heavy story, yanno? That would be silly.

I like Ku Fei, and it's good to see her out of Baka Yellow mode for a while. Natsumi is kind of boring, though; hopefully if they spend any real amount of time on her she'll at least get an interesting Artifact. I was really expecting to find out what Ku Fei's staff does, but there will probably be a special post-Pactio exposition gathering to describe all the new toys.

I liked this week manga for the same reason I liked last one. It's pretty much what I was expecting and wanted to see with these two.

Sexual inuendo kinda killed the first half for me this week. Second half was fine I guess..It could have been better, but whatever.

I think it's stupid to spend an entire week on a single pactio for a few weeks in a row and not be able to have something the next week. Not much is happening in these chapters I don't think, no reason he shouldn't be able to keep up the pace at this.

"Next week the author is taking time off to bang his hot wife and sail on his yacht!" more like. Mmm, I liked the chapter. The sexual innuendo was pretty amusing to me. I've always found the whole charging process kind of cute. The Pactio formation was pretty awesome; there's an interesting question as to whether the strength of the Magister influences the power of the Pactio; it at least has an impact on how many active Pacts can be maintained at once. Her Pact form looks kind of boring though, hopefully it'll be more interesting than "flying lazorz." Ku Fei's and Natsumi's look much more interesting.

I'm not sure what to think of this Doll Pact business. Chachazero would obviously have one with Evangeline also, but she's been presented with an Artifact; she has a giant knife that says Ministra Magi Chachazero, I'm pretty sure. I don't remember what chapter that was, though, so I don't have a page to show... They've never shown Chachamaru to have an Artifact from her Pact with Eva, though, so it could be a visual gag or a fake Chachazero engraved herself. I may be overthinking this angle, Chachazero's never really been played straight.

Chachazero is the really small doll with Eva all the time, right? I always thought she had been with Eva for a long time and she was a "pure" doll, not a robot. No real words to base that on, just my assumption on things.

Chachazero is a magical powered doll, hence why she's more or less inanimate most of the time since eva's magical power is sealed, though become more active on places where a lot of magical energy converges (festival time, resort, unsealed eva in kyoto)

But yeah, she's more or less a gag character, and akamatsu isn't exactly the epitome of consistency and would be more than willing to sacrifice it for the sake of gag/fanservice.
