Boring montly chapter. Pactio are stupid, I wish they wouldnt waste time on them.

We will probably have 2 more pactio chapters (4 girls?) and at least 1 more training chapter...They need to get back to the main story faster.

harem or not, they ought to weed out the bulk of these girls when their only appeal is their so called personality when they show up like in 1 panel every 3 chapter.

I mean yeah, it's one thing in anime where seiyuu moe can carry the character's pitiful existence, but in the manga, it's really annoying having these borderline redshirts shoved on your face, naked or not

I don't mind these characters when they do something on their own (when they were trying to come back with the group on their own), but I don't understand why they all had to fall in love with Negi..7-8 girls was fine for this kind of manga, but 32 is just overkill.


The first few pactio were actually meaningful to the story, now it's just an excuse to show everyone costumes.

it might work if he just stayed with the magical schoolteacher schtick, but now that he basically went all in with as a shounen manga, those character really loses their purposes

kinda like another shonen manga whose name i'd rather not mention

I wouldn't say they lost their purposes. Like I said in my last post, the side stories before the reunion were some of my favorites chapters. You had the already powerful characters (ku fei, asuna, kaede...) doing their thing, you had the weakers character trying to improve (yue, nodoka...), and you had the normal people character lost in the middle of nowhere (maki, yuna)...the diversity was nice, and that's what I liked.

Now that every girl is in love with negi, and will have a pactio, what kind of diversity can we hope for? You can pick any, and it won't matter since nearly every character could be replaced with another.


I'm sure the manga is still going to be interesting, but pactio with everyone is dumb.

Pactio with everyone is smart, just to give everyone some sort of chance/power in case the need arises. Everyone in love with Negi is dumb though. I mean we all knew pactio with everyone was coming, one of the explanations for the "Thousand master" was supposed to be that he had a thousand partners.

As cheesy as it is, I like that Natsumi (I think that's the name?) is more interested in Kotarou than Negi and that the girl who was speaking all this chapter wasn't really interested and was "above"/more mature having a crush on Negi. And while still possible she doesn't have a crush on Negi...she acted like just another one of the girls in this chapter at the idea of liking Negi being mentioned.

Although, Chisame's "Natural Gigolo talk" line did make me laugh this chapter.

Ako with Negi-Nagi was actually developed as a plot point, and Makie's been in the Negi-bandwagon forever. So really the chapter didn't do anything new.

I don't really care about Ako/Makie from this chapter, more of Akira or whatever her name is that was telling Negi about these girls seemingly having feelings for him too. At some point I hope the girls realize they respect/admire Negi but it's not romantic love or anything.

i don't think that ever happen in love hina with everyone else x keitaro, so I doubt it'd happen in negima

Fuck, need less pactio and more of just Evangeline kicking Negi's ass before he finally obtain the true vaizard demon form

..another lame chapter. I can take a few more bad chapters before complaining seriously, but making the 15th pactio with love interest #13 is just boring. The only pages I liked was the one with Yuuna, since she wasn't as serious as other about being a love interest.


I'm worried this manga implode due to the absurd amount of characters being in love with Negi. He did a good job handling the first few, but there is just too many now.

Ako is the only one of the recent pactios that I think had any story relevance. Makie was a long time coming but it was rushed.

It seems we're almost done with this "training" arc, can't wait to see how the fights go. Good to see they made Setsuna's opponent look really strong, I can't wait to see who she fights (mostly Setsuna is my guess) and how that fight goes. I don't think she's someone who will stop even if Fate gets beaten, so it should be a fight to the very end with her.

Good chapter I guess. I fear the next rematch against Setsuna, but she didnt annoy me as much in this chapter.

Definitely a better chapter this week, and the pat on the head was hilarious. I still have trouble believing Ken took away Negi's haxifact, too useful with all those Pacts he has and his demon form... well, we'll see.
