I didn't even really like Killer Instinct offline...
But if they came out with a vagina attachment I think the Wii would be a lot more interesting.
This is a great point as well, lol.
I completely agree KI wasn't the end-all or anything like that. It was just the best Nintendo had to offer....
What blockbuster titles are we looking forward to this year from the Wii that aren't on 360/Ps3 with better graphics/controllers/online play?
PLEASE, give me a reason not to Ebay mine this week.
Deadly Creatures, Madworld, Pikmin 1 and 2 on Wii (lost 1, didnt play 2), The Conduit, Monster Hunter 3, FFCC Crystal Bearers, Punch Out, Sin and Punishment 2, Cave Story (yes, that one, but upgraded), Sam and Max Season 2 (played on PC, it's awesome)
Probably more too that are without release dates yet
If you don't know about these games, I have to revoke your hardcore gamer license
and holy shit KI were not good games, man
Oh I think Boom Blox 2 is this year
KI was the fucking shit in the arcades. Sorry you only played it @ home from your SNES.
What in the fuck is Sam and Max? FFCC is going to blow dick like the first one. Punch Out will be fun for all of 1 hour...yay. S and P 2 is going to be 5 hours and done, ebay'd.
The Conduit could be good, but it won't be a Killzone2/Halo3/CoD4/etc.
Again, where is the blockbuster game I am going to refuse to ever sell/trade/ebay with a shitload of replay value?
I
FUCKING
HATE
YOU
SO
MUCH
(and anyone else who never played a sam and max game and don't know awesome, which is a lot of people)
Amazing, you know what all these games are going to be like before they're released.FFCC is going to blow dick like the first one. Punch Out will be fun for all of 1 hour...yay. S and P 2 is going to be 5 hours and done, ebay'd.
The Conduit could be good, but it won't be a Killzone2/Halo3/CoD4/etc.

I assumed that FFCC was going to suck until the recent trailer. Click the other thread in gaming to see what it actually looks like.
We have no idea what kind of additions are going to be in Punch-Out. Or S&P. The conduit will be the conduit. I didn't know KZ2, Halo 3, and CoD4 were the same game.
Is HUGE REPLAY VALUE is not necessary for non-suckassage.
btw SSBB is that game for many people
Ahh, these arguments feel so old. How did a topic about people having bad taste turn into a vs Wii topic? You either like the Wii, or you don't and this argument has happened time and time again. Don't you people understand how fucking boring and retarded it is? Can we get back to people listing great games they hate so I can go back to laughing at them for their incredibly poor taste?
I got a question for the Mass Effect players. I started playing it recently and enjoy it (I do think it might be overhyped, though). What did you dislike most about it? I can understand that it's largely a conversational game, which is precisely why I like it; removes me from my lethargic state of FPS games. I've put around 20hrs into it (One mission-to-go to track down Seran, no spoilers prz!).
What were your dislikes? My only dislikes so far would be the Biotic/Technic system. I don't find myself using it often (not to mention the horrible menu selection I would have to go through to use it), so thank god my squad has full authority over their own abilities. My Infiltrator/Commando is nearly useless with the Sniper since I'm almost always in close quarters except when finding hostile bases on uncharted worlds. Speaking of snipers, they are quite a bitch to use if you don't train and get stabilizers added on.
To be more on topic: I'd have to add Fable II to my list, I just can't get myself to playing it through. Can add Fable I too for the same reason.
Also Assassin's Creed.
UI kinda sucked, the plot rehashes KOTOR's way too closely, the conversations didn't really impress me (though I've played Planescape: Torment, so none probably will ever again), the loot was extremely boring, it tripped all over military heroism cliches, but most of all, the sidequests and additional planets to explore were among the worst that I've ever seen included in a game. They shouldn't have been there at all, plain and simple. As a compulsive explorer, they pissed me off. They felt like they were randomly generated by a terrible algorithm. Shameful, seriously.
Trekking on the planets in the Mako makes me uneasy knowing I can't flip over. I think I'm beginning to feel the hate. The physics behind the Mako and driving on mountainsides like you have gekko tires is a bit meh.
What's bad about the sidequests? They don't feel any different from other RPG sidequests. I must be missing something or just not far enough into the game OR just not paying the least bit attention to detail.
Mass Effect is another one that I forgot to mention. The UI was really bad, possibly the worst inventory management that I have seen in a RPG. You can't sort gear in any way and you have to manually sort through it to find what you want. Also the combat was really average. The optional planets were very disappointing I agree. I remember one planet, which you explore using the mako (which also sucked) and it had no story on it whatsoever. You just get out of your mako, go into a few bases and kill stuff for crappy loot. The planet served no purpose at all. The other planets weren't much better. I thought KOTOR was awesome so I was really expecting mass effect to be at least as good.
