I normally don't /c people like this but when you see an adaberk with what looks like exorcist hose on, sometimes you just have to. I'd also like to add that this kind of thing with CG people is pretty common, trash players with trash AH gear running around with ridills and dalms and such.

The kind of thing like, when you see someone running around and you say to yourself "Oh man, I really hope that's a seiryu's sword", but it's not, and you die a little inside.

I love how many ChocoboGordo members have come on this tread giving the "Play at the next level" bullshit, and "We owned this server". Ok, here's the breakdown:

Claiming an HNM is like a game of chance.

There's probability in game of chance, it can be best defined by this:

Now, in a game of chance, odds depend on certain variables, but, the variables in FFXI are capped (in the form of an alliance).

Now, say you have an alliance camping something, but other LSs also have alliances camping.

If each LS brought 18 members along, everyone would have an equal chance of of claiming. (Depending on how many LSs were there)

Now, if you guys were to claim the same HNM, weeks on end, you would have to have the odds 100% in your chance. The only way to affect the law of probability is by bringing in an outside variable (aka, a bot).

Sooo, who's really the retards here? The ones who accuse you of botting, or the ones who bot and say "No, we don't bot, we're just that good"?

Cause I have a scientific theorem that says you CAN NOT EVER be that good.

I don't like to accuse people, but it's kinda blatant what you guys are doing.

(Also, don't bring in latency issues to this, everyone knows Spain is farther away from the servers than North America, so it doesn't really count, if anything NA LSs should've claimed MORE)

I got CG pearled first day they made the shell.Can't remember when I left, I think it was around May 2008 after being excluded from an Einherjar event, as we were exactly 37 people. It was not the only reason to leave but it had an impact on me. Real life had also an impact since I couldn't catch up with their 24/7. This is not a critic on the 24/7, just I didn't have the time to.

I will talk from experience until May 2008. Have no idea if anything changed after then, but I think not.

It is well-known they don't have a point system. This is not the correct way to administrate a Shell in my opinion. Note that all successful Endgame shells do have a point system. Avoiding a point system generates bad athmosphere itself unless you are a sack or sack's close friends and got key-information in advance on who's to lot next Aq. Body (for example)

Team Spek application made a split also in between Linkshell's members.
If you use TS you are somebody, if you don't (for whatever reason) you're not.

I can understand Ragnarok people complaining some guys on the shell are arrogant. I was very close to be arrogant also!

Imagine you have been always in Social shells. In less than 20 days your new shell kills kings, Vinegarroons and so...You feel you are the greatest player of Vana'Diel all Servers lol. It's a great feeling, you feel superior, you think you are Elite because you now claim and kill Fafhogg and before that your best accomplishment were "Black Dragon Slayer" and full af1. (just a lol-example) but you have to keep cool. Arrogance can self-destruct you and the ones that surround you.

That said, a few arrogant individuals doesn't make a whole LS arrogant.
You need to make a difference in between a person and a whole gruop since I do not believe at all 100% of the shell is arrogant. That is a 4-5 members problem, no more.

I think they are a group of people not particulary better skilled than others.
They just put a lot of hours into it (hey, nothing wrong with that)
I think they are poorly managed tho, but I don't blame them as well.
It's not easy to control/manage a large group if you have no managing experience.

I manage a large group of people on my daily job irl, so I noticed that quite fast back in time. Tried to offer advise, but I was "nobody" hence my advise was almost never taked into consideration. Not bringing magical solutions here anyways.

I believe nobody is perfect and everyone has room for improvement.
Some people should first check himself before pointing out CG members.

Insults on /l to that person when the day before leaving that guy was "Best-In-Game-Friend". I was quite /shocked to read.

Happened to me when I left as well. No exception. Everyone that leaves the shell instantly becomes the worse person in the world.

Things do hurt. There's a person behind the character, people with feelings yet nowadays seems Internet is the new place to insult people. After all, what do they know of you? Often, very little beyond your character name.

To defend CG's, I think there's some truth behind some people's envy as they are getting E.Body's (example) Admit it, there's nothing wrong with it. I do envy everyone with an E.Body regardless of which shell they belong to !!

By the way, I also think (cannot be sure since I instant-delete) my account was trying to be hacked via E.Mail received on my hotmail account by a CG member way afterleaving the shell.

and for people who talk about our lot system, ok so what? your not a part of our LS so it doesnt concern you, and for people who want to join us they can judge if its fair or not by their own observation.

and CG have spanish/arabs/americans/mexicans/japanese, we don't discriminate between our members, everyone is equal, am not a sack nor a friend of sacks, most of them hate me and wish i was banned/kicked/dead, and i still get items i work for, our general rule in CG "you get what you camp" and before people pop saying jordi/anji got hauteclaire/gaiters first in LS, thats because they camped like our slaves for it, rules apply on all members equally.

note: get a picture of Dragonaut(dreko's brother) nuking as BLM in dalma full time, that would better LULZ material.
