we started the linkshell from zero and became one of the biggest linkshells on ragnarok in 1 year, and because of that we were hated, people couldn't stand the idea that they are coming in second after we arrived.
i still think alot of people envy us and still think we have egoist sacks and don't care about NMs other than the ones they need, in CG we are a family we help each others all the time, there are no friends over others or girls who try to kiss up to sacks, like when **** showed her tits to jordi on MSN to get in LS, all ragnarok know that saw the pictures (DDsize) and they know that we rejected her instantly.

Insults on /l to that person when the day before leaving that guy was "Best-In-Game-Friend". I was quite /shocked to read.
Happened to me when I left as well. No exception. Everyone that leaves the shell instantly becomes the worse person in the world.

This is true, don't think about leaving their shell or handing over your char to RL friends for a while otherwise you'll get bombarded by insults/tells from CG members and more importantly sacks. Anjinjol is the worst for this, continuously harassing the people who had control over my account almost every time they logged on regardless of the fact I had told them beforehand that I was leaving due to RL issues and WoW.

I'm sorry but this just simply isn't true, there are favorites and friends of the sacks in the LS who can get away with doing more than average members. An example of that would be that friends of sacks can leave the game for months and still be a part of the LS and lot system when they get back, normal members get harassed.

My two cents:

First of all my english is not accure or properly spelled; you can laugh, you can blame, I don't care, I already speak 3 language in Spain apart of English while most of you are still trying to figure how your own language works.

I had been in Ragnarock for 4 months. I went to Ragnarock knowing 0 about all drama, haters, botters, and LSs; just went there because I had a friend that moved there long time ago.
After get information about LSs, I ended joining CG. Not for the language since I came from a NA HNMLS followed by a Italian HNMLS, and I got a lot of info about "how bad" was supposed to be CG and all server hated them.
I was trial for near 2 week and camped, killed, and did a lot of things with them but what I really liked was that ppl was friendly. Not only spanish ppl, NA, KSA, ITA all ppl there (except the fucking moron of Exoda that I hope he gets banned somehow :D). After those 4 months I got a lot of items, I can't complain, also over old ppl in the LS, even succes some objetives I wanted to do in engame. Most of them probably won't got-do in others LS seeing how they work.
I saw LS that was rly respectfully and others than not. That's not new, and not even when someone claims and say that in CG there is shitty ppl that do X action or say X bad things. I strongly agree but I only found 2 LS that their ppl was nice at all, EC and NO, Not saying all ppl in others shells aren't nice but they let their assholes ppl show a bad image of how their LS is same as some of CG do.
Others LS that keep complaining in this thread about how CG ppl are greedie, morons, etz are just the ppl that when you meet them for first time, you only see shit going out of their mouth. One fast example was Kerberoz; I was going with some of the shell going to an event and he passed next to us and started to blame on say. None said nothing to him, not an emote, and he started the blame.
Or Finalfabio; i saw him a lot of time and though he was a great player, rly pimp gear and looked rly skilled. Once again the aparences fails, first time I had to speak with him (after their chain 2 wipe fafnir), I tried to speak nicely with him for tell for ally with them and split Fafnir drops (CG got it). What i got as answer after 3 tells? 1 answer in English and after a blame tell in Italian. Had to send tell to Oscurodrago (someone I never spoke, same ls as FFabio) for tell him about was happening. At least this one guys answered and was someone which you could speak.
With this example I want to show ppl that maybe you aren't doing nothing wrong, not a bad word but someone of your LS is probably doing the same. So before say things like that first take a look at your "family" (LS) then you will able to speak about others.


In 4 months I had seen ppl calling shit, racism, blames, botters*1, gilbuyers/sellers*2 to CG. Obviously I will say all this is false but let me give my reason like a "new player" in Ragnarock:

*1 botters. That's for me the best part of all, is the most enjoyable one, because those which call CG bunch of botters never show up in a HNM. I have seen in this post a lot of ppl saying "CG bunch of BOTTERS", but i will like to ask you little question: ¿How can you prove CG bots when you aren't in the camp? I mean, most of you don't go DA, VOS, BD but you keep calling shit botting about CG (or put any LS that keep claim over others).
The only reason I see is that you burn inside because while CG (or any LS) claims more HNMS, your shell doesn't.
Why? CG has more ppl than your linkshell? That makes more posibility of claim not a botting issue. Because CG has ppl that likes to dedicate their free time to camp 3days HNM while they are with family, work etz?? Make your ppl move more or get ppl that want to do it. CG ppl not there 24hr 3days watching the pixel pop. Don't get a wrong idea or better to say: don't try to give a bad image of this ppl.

In other words the ppl that keep posting about botting is ppl that their LS is just that lazy that they prefer to sit in Whitegate making pose, exp, merits, run in circles, walk AH > mog < AH. If your Linkshell doesn't want to spend X camping a HNM, or NM, don't complain here about a LS overclaiming or owning a server and obviously don't acuse of botting.

Go out and try to claim something before come here and make drama.


*2 Gilbuyers/seller: The most fun ideas, thoughs, or crazy brains are already said. All I have to say is that since I'm in CG all money went to do relics or Chocobonanza (something like gifts for ls members). Nothing was sold for RMT purpose and about gilbuyers, CG rewards ppl that camp or gets tod which means no need to buy gil.

Thats my resume of 4month on ragnarock. For ppl outside Ragnarock i don't see it that bad, tragic, or dramatic but still you have to thing there will be always someone who will hate you, wherever you go.

About Dreko's Adaberk, yes is gimp, I admit but at least for me is more gimp see blms with HQ gear, full merited and even with morrigan body getting resisted in all nukes in a tiamat, who while we kill Tiamat they say we do low dmg, 10-12% HP per fly. Maybe for them their 3% HP per fly is more than 10-12%, who knows there are always ppl who didn't pass Maths. For me that is worse than dreko's adaberk. Just another opinion.

It was a long standing policy to have 1-2 MULES at a 36+ hour HNM, not a holding alliance of 12. When CG appeared you chose to scoff at that policy, and spam cerb/khim/tia with entire pts of people, be they AFK/2boxed/whatever. This isn't something you guys "innovated" or brought to the "next level" this is simply a bully tactic you picked up from this or some other message board. Alot of spent alo of time in DA/VoS/BD/AC/CM/MtZ just to watch someone with a yellow pearl voke shit backwards after not moving for 1-12 hours, coincidence? Systemx, please don't generalize. These are individuals posting their opinions. Please don't generalize and drag whole LSes into this. There are many opinions, good and bad (though mostly bad).
Let's also not forget, that most of the people that recently got banned for the salvage duping on Ragnarok were from your LS. People in your LS CHEATED, and that had an adverse affect on us as a WHOLE FFXI community. That is fact, period.

and CG have spanish/arabs/americans/mexicans/japanese, we don't discriminate between our members, everyone is equal, am not a sack nor a friend of sacks, most of them hate me and wish i was banned/kicked/dead, and i still get items i work for, our general rule in CG "you get what you camp" and before people pop saying jordi/anji got hauteclaire/gaiters first in LS, thats because they camped like our slaves for it, rules apply on all members equally.

I'd like illustrate how handing out loot is handled by the leaders of CG.

I joined ChocoboGordo in 2007 when I came back to the game after taking a long break, since the day I joined I rarely missed an event.

After about three months of playing I was wondering what my chances were of getting an item. Since I was already decently geared there wasn't many items I still needed, I discussed this with Jordi and Anjinjol, asking what they thought about it. Since I was really active, they said I was second in line for Earthern Abj. Body. Later that week we got the claim on Nidhogg and luckily 2 Eathern Abj. Body's had dropped.

They told Flesko and me to lot for the abjurations and the moment I lotted for the Eathern Abj. Body a few people in CG started talking spanish in LSchat. After a while Anjinjol told me to pass the Abj. for someone that I had never seen before; I passed, but I was quite annoyed. When I asked what was going on they told me that I shouldn't be so greedy and to shut up. Later I found out that Anjinjol and the person that lotted the second Abj. were friends in real life. He rarely showed up after that too.

Just giving you a heads up if you're looking to join them.
