It was okay, not something I have to tune in for yet but I will keep watching cause it will help kill time till Galactica at least for another 5 weeks :3, I just hope it doesn't get boring to me the way Terminator: Sarah Chronicles and Prison Break did..

Just got to watch this after getting back home, thought it was pretty good I agree that the second half picked up a lot better then the first. I am curious to see what Whedon does since this was suppose to be the 2nd episode and he decided to premiere with it instead of the Pilot. Fuck Fox in advance for the impending cancellation of another good show.

Any one get from next weeks preview that the naked rouge agent guy was probably responsible for Amy Acker being scarred up?

Why do people not like episodic shows? Because of LOST? Burn Notice is pretty episodic, and it's awesome. Journeyman was episodic, and it was awesome, but got canceled. I think it was more a victim of its timeslot.

I think Lost/24/BSG/Heroes Season 1 have established a new trend, episodic shows feel old fashioned imo, they can still be done right as seen in Chuck and Burn Notice, but with Firefly not being that episodic and most shows in Dollhouse's fan demographic being nonepisodic it makes sense that people would want it not to be. Also, might just be me but nonepisodic shows feel like the writers have a better idea of what they want to do over the course of a shows run/season whereas the writing for a lot of episodic shows dont feel that way and suffer as a result.

I liked the first episode but tbh it was dumb of them to implant the asthma effect into her head. I mean, I know they want to show that they can have flaws as well, but that was just stupid. Why put a weakness like that on her that can end up messing up the mission like it did happen at first?

Other than that I like the concept of the series and hope it develops into something cool.

Well, I believe the gist of it was that he implanted a full personality into her. It didn't say he could actually change the personalities at will but rather that he has a selection of personalities to use to get certain traits to come about. We have no proof that they can do anything but copying when it comes to personalities, it hasn't been shown (yet) they can make up their own.

Procedural shows suck in general, adding in a badass motherfucker or covering everything in semen does not make the story good.
