The true test for him as an actor would be for Echo to be imprinted onto Victor. Can he pretend to be a subpar actor?

    Did that happen?

Anyway, as for the episode. In all honesty I just couldn't pay attention like normal. Not sure if its cause I was distracted or it really wasn't that interesting.

I was distracted a lot as well, but mostly because friends kept talking while I was watching... I loved both episodes tonight, except for the prison part in the first one, they could have made a better story to show her controlled personality swapping

Well, I'm also annoyed at Dewitt's betrayal...I know they are running short on time, so I will forgive them on this one, but it was kind forced (unless they come up with an explanation later).

Topher's part were great as usual, Alpha was interesting, and Echo's personality swap was nice. It's one of the rare time I enjoyed her character.

They already explained Dewitt's betrayal. She saw what Harding and Rossum were building and realized that even without Topher's plans, they would eventually succeed. She could either, from her perspective, get on board or get run over. As she says to Alpha, she has moved on to self-preservation.

That being said, I would not be shocked if she has some other plan in mind.

I understand that, it's just that it doesn't feel like something she would have done, or at least, not that suddently.

I also think she has some other plan in mind (it's probably her best chance to get close to the big figure and learn the truth ), but in the event she doesn't...she is indeed a bitch. There is also a slight possibility her memories was wiped, but I find that unlikely

It's not really all that sudden, it's just that Whedon didn't have time to give all the detail and subtlety I'm sure he wanted. Dewitt spent 3 months being humiliated, forced to be servile to Harding, Boyd, and even Topher(which she clearly took most personally).

Angel intro was kinda shitty, but I always loved that music

That's what I said in my first post. I understand they are short on time, and I don't mind that much. What annoyed me is the lack of onscreen transition between both. You normally show the character expressing some doubt or remorse, but nothing like this was done.

Over 9000 internets to the person that makes an Alpha music video to "What is love?". I keep picturing Echo beating his ass during "...baby don't hurt me... don't hurt me... no more..."

I was just saying, even with the time constraints it didn't feel forced to me.

Somebody said after last week's they'd like to see Viktor as Alpha, but after this week I want it stepped up to Viktor-Alpha vs Alpha-Alpha.

It felt a bit rushed in the attics, but I loved it. It covered many loose end, and added a very interesting dimension to the show, particularly the bonus episodes. Such a shame they are ending it soon...last few episodes were so damn good.

You know, I was half hoping that the last "soldier" that Echo wanted in on the action was Alpha. What the fuck happened to him anyway? The last thing I remember was Echo beating the crap out of him, then he got up and staggered off camera and we never saw or heard from him again.

That's Alpha's bit. He comes in, wreaks havoc, and runs off.

Joss missed a huge opportunity in episode 9 during this scene, but to be fair she probably already did.

Ha, I thought the same thing. I was hoping for Alpha too.

Good episodes. I'm glad Sierra and Victor finally have the romance they've been building since pretty much episode one, and that they'll be involved in the finale.

Here's hoping next week will explain what the hell Caroline did to the Washington programmer and what Topher took from Ballard.

    Lelouche
    Jin Kazama
    Dewitt

    Shit's getting olde.

Lol, had to Wiki that shit (and guess which Ozymandias you were referring to) to get that. Personally, I like the "Seemingly evil, but for the greater good" trend for several reasons. First off, I have no more faith in humanity and I genuinely believe that people really are too stupid to make the right decisions without being manipulated. Second, I always play Devil's Advocate anyway, so these instances generally save me the trouble. Lastly, it might be the most accurate portrayal of real life modern Government/Politics (though on a much smaller scale).
