Well, it's moot anyway since Fox cancelled it. I have heard rumors of them doing a comic series(who fucking cares).

ok two things
1. I just finally "finished" dollhouse and I <3 it. I'm up to epitaph two though and I never saw epitaph one. Anyone know a place that still streams it? Or I guess a place to d/l it, but I'd rather stream if possible.
2. cool thing I found on wiki:
Enver Gjokaj (Victor) I guess has an identical twin brother. In episode 10 where he's fighting "himself" in the dream sequence, he was actually fighting his brother.
Thought that was funny cause when I was watching it, I was like "wow they photo shopped that really well!"
LOL
That's the same thing they pulled in the Xander-doppelganger episode of Buffy. Joss must go out looking for actors with identical twins.
And speaking of Enver/Victor - he was the best actor on the show and I hope someone snaps him up quick. The others didn't slide in and out of other personalities like he did. You could always see their effort, but his was effortless.
anyone else catch the subtle firefly reference?
(strawberries)
So I just spend the last two days watching the whole Dollhouse. It's obvious I wouldn't do it if I didn't enjoy the show so I'm gonna leave a review out
But I got some questions that bother me now, freshly after the last episode.
First of all: Did I miss it, or simply forgot atm, but did they ever explained whoever was contacting Ballard in season 1? Was it Dominic and NSA? Seems logical, but I can't remember anything being said about that...
What's up with Alpha? Seems he was the same as Caroline in terms of this... biological stuff, no? Then why was he never treated like that by Rossum? Ok, I remember Caroline saying she was different from him in some way, and that she will do better handling all the personalities something something, but didn't they also say that a normal person just wouldn't be able to have so many of them, pointing to the fact he had to be somewhat special?
Also, sorry for necrobump![]()
For some reason I remember it being Alpha that sent them to Ballard, I'd have to look back though.
I think they didn't notice (or took for granted) Alpha's abilities, which is why they were totally unprepared when he lashed out and tried to kill everyone in the dollhouse. At the time Caroline's abilities hadn't been developed, so they probably never saw anyone do what alpha could do at the time. What's up with Alpha? We'd have to assume some things since the show didn't have the time to develop, but perhaps Rossum either was looking at Alpha, but when he turned bad pretended to have nothing to do with him, OR there was some biological difference between the two, since while Caroline was able to control all the personalities, Alpha had to struggle with it, and seemed to make him insane.
I mean, whoever imprinted Echo or November with those messages to him. And asked him to observe what Dollhouse true goal was.
I don't think that the ability thing would matter. I mean Rossum basically flipped only because of Carolines blood tests, so it should be easily noticeable in Alpha too. But I guess it's true that they probably didn't have enough time for some of that stuff. Seemed as Alpha lost a lot of development because of the show being canceled :<
Ya that should have been Alpha too, iirc. Didn't he figure out a was to imprint from long-distance or something? I don't think they ever really said, but that's what I assumed.

Wikipedia I think helps on this:
It sounds like he didn't have special abilities, but what happened to him was an accident. Which would explain the insanity because his body couldn't handle it. So I would say maybe nothing would have shown in his blood.Alpha (Alan Tudyk),E-11 born Carl William Craft,E-12 is a rogue Active who escapes from the Dollhouse. Prior to the events of the series, an accident causes a "composite event" in which 48 personalities are simultaneously imprinted in Alpha, along with all the associated memories and skill sets. In his escape, he kills or maims several Dolls and Dollhouse staff members (including Echo's previous handler) but leaves Echo unscathed.E-2 After his escape from the Dollhouse, Alpha begins to send anonymous packages to Paul Ballard that hint at the existence of the Dollhouse and Echo's former identity.E-1 Alpha reveals himself after posing as the architect behind the construction of the Los Angeles Dollhouse facility, Stephen Kepler, whom Ballard has tracked down. He leads Ballard into the Dollhouse, takes control of the security and automated systems, and leaves with Echo.E-11 Though Echo escapes him, he remains at large.E-12
What happened to Alpha drove him fucking mental and it was all at once, it was a complete and utter accident. Echo on the other hand took to it naturally and as a result came out of the incident sane. That's why they didn't treat alpha in hopes of looking for the vaccine.
I thought Alpha was crazy because 2 of his personalities were schizophrenic?
No, that was a little whedon-esque joke added in the last episode.
I know I'm late to show here, but never got around to watching Epitah Two, just because I knew it was the last episode. It didn't seem to take itself as seriously as Epitah One until the end.. I wasn't too sure about them turning Victor into a Tech head and all... but the last 20 minutes of the episode was really fantastic, though the show ended on a really sad note imo.
Spoiler: show
