Prediction: Aplha (the rogue) realized Echo was like him in that she eventually would retain her memories. He is now training her with 'powers' and seeing if she is really worthy...like he's sending her out on missions HE designs so he'll get certain traits, this one was the crazy outdoor skills. At the end of the season (or close to it) Echo will finally start to remember all this and he will try to get her to go rogue to fight against the dollhouse. So, in short, he's training her to be Peter Petrelli.

but that ep seriously kicked arse. For a while there I thought the guy who went crazy was alpha, but then it occurred to me (duh, lol) that they'd probably know what he looked like. Unless he has some sort of magical face-changing machine... and teleportation/time travel so he could go knife up the ranger. Okay this is sounding more Heroes now too ... lol!

I wasn't all that impressed with this episode. I thought the first had some potential. Second just really lost me. I mean really? He hunted her? This is like a 2nd season type episode, not a second episode type deal. I haven't felt any connection to the main story at all yet. I'll give it one more episode before a final verdict, but I'm already feeling that I'll be disappointed.

I don't think this show would stand a chance on another network, or have as much creative freedom as I'm sure Whedon has gotten/is going to get, since I think Fox realizes how much they fucked up w/ Firefly.

I just watched this show for the first time too! I never even heard of it before, there was just nothing else on... It's pretty weird and pretty good. No idea what the hell was going on though.

you could kind of hear it slipping it out, it was weird. He doesn't hide it as well as like House does.
