Finished it, and it was such a good episode! SUCH a good episode, OMG!

    Thoughts:
    Spoiler: show
I didn't think I could take Patton Oswald seriously, either, until he told the story of why he hires a doll. That just made me sad. *chick moment*

I was SO not surprised to learn that the neighbor was a doll. But also very sad about it, because I thought she was very cute, what with the whole, "I brought you leftovers!" and handing over full casseroles and everything. And when they kissed and then slept together, I was like squee-ing all over the place about FBI agent dude finally noticing her back, and was like "Goddamn you, Joss, you're gonna muck this up, aren't you?" And then he did, as he always does with happy relationships.

I'm curious now - is there really someone on the inside of Dollhouse, or are they double-setting him up? It's a possibility, but I think if they wanted him out of the way, they'd just kill him and not string him along like that.

Sierra sub-plot was very, very well done and spotlighted an issue with the non-personality, obedient dolls, but it seemed pointless, and felt like they were only there because their names are in the opening credits. I think Whedon has a too large cast at the moment.

Ending made me go all chick moment again.

I think all the parts with Sierra we're pointless compared to all the epicness of this episode, they could have gave more story about the neighbour being a freaking doll!! As for what the FBI is going to do now, i'll just let the 2nd rendez-vous happens and watch where this is going.... Man I was dying for this episode but now I'd commit mass murder for more

I also just thought of something
    Spoiler: show
I thought remote wipes weren't "possible", but apparently you can even have an on off switch!?!?

Neighbor wasn't a "wipe" remotely. It was just a pass-phrase that unlocked a different parameter of her personality. It was all pre-programmed in.

I wonder if Topher's cute assistant is the inside man. I don't know her name, but she was wearing that peacock pin thing that Badger wore in Firefly.

I also wasn't surprised about the neighbor. And the moment that Toofer (sp) turned his back, I also called that someone edited the files/swapped the disk. It's getting better though. Isn't it only like another episode before full control is given to Joss from Fox?

Yesterday's episode was the one Joss gained full control of Dollhouse.

I hope he can stay the course. When Joss's creations do have bad episodes (which has been known to happen, even when he's been in complete charge), they are REALLY bad. (From Buffy, "Bad Eggs," "Beer Bad" and "Doublemeat Palace" come to mind, from Angel most of season 4 comes to mind...)

And this season is pretty critical in tersm of viewership, popularity, establishing a fan base and selling the network on giving the clear for more season(s) - I don't think he can afford any massive muck-ups.

    Episode didn't disappoint.
While I liked the Seirra subplot and thought it was very well done, I also wish there was more to the Internet guy... the ending made me all giddy and happy, was perfect ><
And I always liked the neighbor girl... why did they send the guy to off her if she was a doll, doesn't make much sense to me because it will just make Paul suspicious? I mean she killed the guy combat style, that was brutal. How the hell isn't Paul gonna notice something was off there? But it's interesting cause rly have no idea who anybody is. Also wonder how they are gonna take Paul's story forward now since he lost his FBI connections.

edit: oh yeah.. the throwing of pots in the kitchen was pure epic :3

I think Adelle just wanted to kill the guy that raped Sierra and just wanted to find an interesting way to do it.

In my opinion, it was to add a dead body to the FBI guys house on top of the shooting, he's suspended and probably not going to be allowed to look in to the Dollhouse case anymore. Of course we know that won't stop him.

I think they killed the handler mostly because they couldn't really fire him risking leaks but couldn't really do it themselves either.

I think it just adds more drama to the FBI guys life by having his now-girlfriend-ish person get attacked while he was away. It's going to make the two of them even closer now as he'll feel he needs to protect her. And that's exactly what the Dollhouse wants.

I just thought of something - what about the message the head lady left on the agent's machine? If he plays it back in neighbor chick's presence, or repeats it to her...?

I also just realized I have the worst time remembering people's names.

Do they have to? It could be programmed into her to delete it, so even if they don't explicitly state/show it, it could happen
