The other FBI agent who Paul attacked... at the end when Paul was leaving the office that guy had a huge grin on his face and was like laughing to himself, but his computer screen showed a picture of some guy i didn't recognize. Thought it would be odd to show something like that and not have it related, anybody else recognize the face?

Yay the show is going somewhere now. Suspected that someone tampered with the imprint and also suspected that neighbor lady was a doll of some sort, not enough though to not feel a little surprise when it actually did happen.

I didn't see any indication that it was his screen at all. >.> He was sitting at the corner of that desk, not in the chair, it looked to me like he was just there to gloat.

I wonder if Topher's cute assistant is the inside man. I don't know her name, but she was wearing that peacock pin thing that Badger wore in Firefly.

This is the most obvious choice, but I also think the doctor(Amy Acker's character, do we have a name for her?) is a likely candidate assuming she has the technical ability to alter an imprint. She's suffered the most(of those who are alive) from the mistakes of Dollhouse management and the past few episodes have made it clear that she is completely unappreciated in her work there.

Of course, this is all assuming there really is an inside man and that there's only one.

Boyd couldn't have done it, or at least couldn't have done it alone. He has no idea how the dollhouse tech works, he wouldn't be able to change an imprint.

Just got to catch up on these last two episodes and was very happy with the way the show is going. The last episode was phenomenal. I am leaning towards Amy Acker's character being the inside person messing with the imprints, she seems to be very unhappy with the situation at the dollhouse and is one of those If I leave i'm dead situations. (I see Tophers asisstant as the a likely culprit as well, but she is almost to obvious) I reaaaally wish someone would find out that the blonde queer (Can't remember his name, the head security dick who works under Adelle that hates Echo) tried to leave Echo for dead in the fire in the episode before last, would not mind seeing him take a trip to the attic. Also the leaked photos that were posted a page back makes anticipation for the upcoming episodes even better, I try to stay away from all spoiler releated stuff when watching shows but I was damn glad I clicked on those. Can't fucking wait!

ROFL @ Boyd there. Wonder how things are going to go now, Echo seems to be building a resistance of sorts to the memory wipes.

Enjoyed the filler episode, and man the scenes with Topher and Adelle were fantastic. Next week looks really fucked up with the dolls waking up. I wish they'd get the Alpha storyline rolling :/

I can see this opening the storyline up to a 2nd season though. We now find out the "real" Echo (Caroline) was fighting against Rossum, the company she's now somewhat? voluntarily working for. If they flesh out the dolls awakening pre-Alpha contact it leaves open the option of having the dolls form a spy force to take down Rossum completely (and then maybe more...?) Otherwise they'll meet Alpha and be so confused about their own lives, whereas with their memories returning more slowly...they will probably be more open to Alpha and whatever his objectives may be.

I'd rather see an epic alpha vs echo showdown =/ It seems the two together would be anticlimactic.

Last episode was nice. The main plot is starting to take shape slowly, and it make the show hundred time more interesting.

I don't care much about Alpha, but I really want to know what Dollhouse main purpose isé

That could still happen, could do it:

Echo + Alpha team up for season 1 finale shutting down their "home" dollhouse.
Echo takes out Alpha after finding out he's out for blood/vengeance more than do what is "right" by taking out Dollhouses for season 2.
Season 3+ Echo + select "awakened" Dolls work together to shut down other dollhouses and increase ranks and etc. etc. until no one but a few watches it anymore.

Granted, both what I said for season 1 + 2 could happen in season 1 and season 2+ could be what I said for 3+, but it's all up on what Whedon can do to flesh it out. He's better at it than I so I'm sure he can pace it better than I could.

Agreed. Getting more background made this last episode feel so rewarding. Now we have an idea at how they "recruit" the dolls at the least.

I have a feeling that Echo and DeWitt have quite a complicated background. I even want to say that it could be that DeWitt is the mother, but I don't want to go that far.
