Sword that kills anything in one hit?

I heard about this yesterday, I don't play so I haven't seen it, but all I could do was think of the WoW South Park episode lol. Is there really a sword that slays anything in one hit in WoW/glitch?

I remember there being a mace that was always linked that had a chance on hit: kills everything in a 30 yrd radius. That was like two years ago and prob a GM weapon.

Martin Thunder - Item - World of Warcraft

The sword from the south park episode was in BC beta for a bit (I think), but seemed like a just for fun thing and never went live.

edit: to clarify no, there is no 1 hit kill weapon in game. Also the sword in the pic above was just the S1 MH sword reskinned and renamed, I believe.

As far as I know, the player who "found" this sword isn't a GM, but that would be a logical explanation. It was explained to me as a possible glitch that is not getting reported and the said player doesn't use it much for fear of it getting reported, which sounds to me like not a GM. meh.

Nope, it's the actual skin used for the "Sword of a Thousand Truths" in the South Park episode.

It's in game now as the "Slayer of the Lifeless," the naxx 10 tanking weapon. The flavor text now says "Foretold by Salzman." Salzman from accounting was the guy in the South Park episode that asked "How do you kill that which has no life?"

One of the few glitches in blizz wotlk beta

"2 hand specilization" boosts damage 5%... well it did that 5% every time you put on a 2hander.. so... clicka few dozen times and you insta-gib things.

Was another glitch with "haste" in serpent shrine caverns... made your attack speed go 0.00 so you touch something it gets hit about 73658736857364 times till it dies instantly

Yea, you can feasibly 2-4 shot someone if you get lucky with some bursty crits, but with the exception of bugs/exploits, no way on live. There was a bug fixed recently where if you were a prot warrior and a rogue dismantled you, and you re-equipped the shield, it would stack it's shield block value over itself, so if you were willing to spend some time dismantiling and re-equipping your shield, a prot warrior could walk up to say doomwalker and one shot him with a shield slam. The buff would disapear after you zone, so was definently a glitch, and a bannable one if you were dumb enough to do it

Theres a sword that was a small error on blizzard's part last patch:

Enti's Quenched Sword - Item - World of Warcraft

It may not look like much, but the actual dps of the weapon was somewhere in the 30s, just a guesstimate. You could oneshot every mob up to about level 12-ish, because the sword hit for way more than specified.

It's not an error, it's intentional.

The actual damage range is something like 140-170.

Level 19's rend ticks for ~170 with it. A really strong level 19 twink might have 1300-1400 hp without the mining bug.

That sucks, I definitely saw a blue say on forums that it was intentional.
