Strange I cant help but think that someone, anyone inside Apathy, or outside would know that AV was killed, kept quiet for over an hour?

Wasn't killed, no. We were just attempting to learn about it, see if we could survive through manafonts, etc. We actually weren't attempting to damage it that run, and were ill prepared, so the fact that we got it to 75% before it depopped was unexpected for us.

So what did you in fact learn? Any new breakthroughs? Did you try any of the torque 2hr locks at all?

I've probably brought it up twice in a year, I wouldn't say that's 'all the time', but at one point our LS forums was hacked by a member of another LS on our server. He got into our LSes private forums, officer's section, and people's PMs, and by using the passwords he found in our forums database, he was able to get into emails of registered members (the emails of which he also got from our forums database). In the emails he managed to get some people's account information and stole items/dropped gear/deleted characters/etc, and eventually the database was posted on the forums here. We asked to have it removed but to no avail, which meant registered members of our forums had their email identity compromised, private posts and private messages were available for all to see, along with account information and passwords (well, by 'all to see, I mean someone with enough technical saavy to hack the database which was posted', but nonetheless this was a serious issue, as it was definately hackable when available to download off a forums like it was). Fortunately there was some kind of crash on BG and things had to be rolled back a couple of weeks, and the posting of our forums information was lost.

No, whatever their issue was, it wasn't malicious damage. There was just some kind of hardware failure or something, or server traffic overload and in attempting to resolve that they did something, iunno, I don't remember. But it wasn't 'BG got hacked' type of shit.
