80 Cap BGs
So are 80cap BGs generally thought to be insta queue and usually always full games? Doing 79 cap and although the queues aren't that long it's hardly ever a fair game.
-
It just depends on the time. Usually between 3-6mins.
-
depends on the BG and holidays usually. its easier to find on the holidays ofc, warsong and arathi (maybe eots) are usually populated, but you'll never get a fair AV these days.
-
it still feels like they somehow killed BGs...
late TBC it was silly to have purple sets avaiable with simple AV farm, i agree, but making lv80 rewards just expensive blu trash really took all the utility out.

Mithra Ero-Sensei
Sex Manthra
Bg's feel more like "go play with your epics, slaughtering people" playground more like it. After all, where else can you go besides an ally/horde city and go on a rampage killing people without much thought of durability loss

I tend to do premades as my guild is primarily PvP, or I go in with a group of guildies. Still kinda meh on the pvp sets and the crazy out of hand burst.
-
They need to revert back to Realm BGs, or atleast make a variation on the cross-server but always make the realm you come from a priority. Would definitely put more competition, community between Horde and Alliance, and definitely revive the old feeling of BGing.
-
The queues were unbearable before cross-realm BGs were implemented. They'll never go back to the way things were.
-
It comes at a cost of totally slaughtering the enjoyment out of PvP. Seeing familiar faces made you enjoy your matches a lot more and it gave you a better idea of who sucked and who was a good player on your server. I personally wish they would return it to the way it was, but that's never going to happen. : /
-
If you're already on a PvP server there's nothing stopping you from killing the same faces over and over again.
-
You'll rarely find a close or balanced match with 80 BGs; much of the time one side begins the round with 5-6 more players than the other. The queues aren't as long, but it's such a toss up that it's barely more than an honor/mark farming exercise.
