I cant see it either, says it's taking too long bla bla.
Sites not loading for me either
All our ISPs must be in on it.
I think that their site is just tanked with lots of people wanting to test.
It's also not loading for me very quickly at all, wheras other sites are definately loading quickly...
But those other sites aren't leaking their dark secrets!
I have comcast so I will go out on a limp to say that it throttles my internetz even without running the test.
I'm pretty sure verizon fios is not throttling my internetz...
Yet >.>
I'm like 99% sure that my ISP does throttle my connection.
In fact, I think it's something that all Canadian ISPs do.
I'm 100% sure Comcast does it. I really need to switch to a new service provider, I'm just so lazy.
What I don't understand is this:
Hai guys! We can now give you 8-12 mbps connections isn't that great?!
What? You want to download torrents all day? Nooo way! We're gonna
throttle your connection so you can't download for extended periods of
time.
I mean.. there's no need to have speeds that high if you're not transfering
data. Not even the most graphically intense games need that much for
a transfer rate. At least not that I know of.
Well my ISPs current cap is 60 GB/month bandwith.
That being said, they throttle your connection horribly if you download for
more than an hour or two straight.
I used to download some anime torrents and comeback to errors. An
LSmate of mine had me try out a torrent program he had that was
supposed to encrypt or something so the ISP couldn't do that anymore.
I think it was uTorrent.
Comcast is the only isp where I live![]()
None of those tests are working for me either. I like to think I have a good ISP (Cox) and they don't really do much in the way of policing your connection or anything. Only having Comcast available = time to move.
I think I would welcome Comcast from our current ISP (Embarq).
