I'm trying to find a discontinued desk that Target had online and in stores posted. I once had the name of it but lost it. Its still on their site somewhere, I'm sure of it. But it wouldn't be listed under searches since its posted as "Unavailable" or "Out of Stock"

Anyone have a clever way of searching a site for JUST the out of stock items.

Simply put, this desk was perfect for what I needed in a desk. It was on clearance for like $65... and I'd pay $200 for it. My fucking roomate got one but got the last one at our local Target.

enter the name of the item in Google and put "site:target.com"(without quotes) at the end of it

problem is i lost the name of it... lol... I had it on a sheet of paper that got tossed. Is there a way of just bringing up a list of out of stock or discontinued items.

I used to work at target. the only desk name I remember was Black kids desk. and of course black kids chair.

You'll eliminate the wrong desks and things like desk lamps.

Try throwing in the clearance or retail price too.

Most retail places will do whatever they can to make a sale. My company will deliver stuff from other stores if they do not have it in stock when you call in or visit a store. I would call customer service, if nothing else they should be able to tell you if any stores still have it in inventory... hopefully they will go the extra mile to get it sent to you.

Well shit. Apparently this went "salvage" in Target's system. In other words they either went clearance or donated/threw them away.

249130087 is the product number. Seems like a lost cause. One guy I talked to in Chicago said the only way to find this is to get lucky and hope a Target somewhere has it on clearance sitting on an end cap.

I know people who used to work at Lowe's, anything that was donated usually went to Habitat for Humanity, which was then sold in there stores. However, it could be possible that they were marked for donation, but magically ends up at a random employees home, something that I hear happens a lot. >.>

Some Target stores donate to Goodwill, at least mine does... check there maybe?
