last two times I played the game, I just used the infinite launcher for one run (which I killed myself idk how many times, then I did a speed run and got through the game in 1hr some minutes. cant remember how much exactly. then my Gamecube broke and I was sad.

I can't see how the Wii version could hurt somebodies arm. My nephew can't lift an ipod and he can play it from start to finish.

Beat the game today, going through it on Professional mode now >.>, i found certain parts challenging (fuck you mine cart and Luis's cabin).

only died 2 times though.

Which version did you wind up getting? Wii > PS2 > GCN = Truth. Anybody who's hating on the Wii controls should've realized you could plug in a normal controller. The Wii version's cinematics and what not, unlike the PS2's, aren't pre-rendered garbage. It's the best version by far.

i got the ps2 version to play on my Ps3. I dont have my Gamecube anymore and the wii is too much of a piece of shit to warrant a purchase.

Almost makes me want to go and finally play RE4 on Wii for myself, even though I watched a play through online already for the story. Come next payday I think I'm going Lost Odyssey first then maybe RE4 later.

Seriously though, as far as RE4 goes, teh Wii version is the best; and even then, if you don't want to swing your arms around you can actually use a Gamecube controller with the Wii version too. (Basically meaning it's a GCN version with the PS2 Extras.)

Luis's cabin can be rough. I remember I had issues my first play through when you had to fight the chief in the barn. My ammo situation was horrid at the time and I didn't have enough loot to buy a rocket launcher to shorten the fight.

This is very LOL considering it is the only system that has not had any major issues. The games out for the system may be a piece of shit but at least the console itself is pretty solidly built.

I concur, the game options are horrid and which is why I never use mine. But the console is very solid. RE4 on the Wii brought me countless weeks of joy.
