Sometimes I wonder if people who write the Wii completely off actually pay attention to what games are coming out for it.
Whether they've heard about Deadly Creatures or the new Tenchu game.

Well, the bit of hype I've heard surrounding the new Tenchu has been positive and apparently it went back to the original devs, but there is so little coverage it's pathetic. I've seen far more coverage for Fallout 3 DLC and, as much as I love FO3, it's insane that a whole game deserves no coverage.
But those are just my observations.
Why would a new tenchu game deserve any coverage after how many bad games they've put out in a row? Cause this ones got waggle?
Because games deserve coverage on their own merit? Back when Twisted Metal: Black came out, it was hyped to hell despite the previous 2 Twisted Metal games being crap. People just aren't covering the breadth of games anymore, just the most hyped it seems. The hype just begets more hype and suddenly games that need the coverage get none. I can't be the only one seeing this... (ok I know I'm not the only one seeing this.)
wasn't Deadly Creatures a game on ps1? maybe I'm thinking of a different game.
your a guy with a gun walking through a city that's mostly pitch black. only monsters I can really remember were they stupid flying pteridactyl(sp) things and a big blue gorilla like thingy.
wiki'd deadly creatures and no.. thats not it nvm. but now i'll be trying to remember what the game i was thinking of is D:
You're not, but unfortunately, those who actually work within the industry perpetuate it, sometimes with great determination. It's almost impossible to hold a job in gaming journalism if you're not willing to pander to the masses, unless you're in direct control of what's published and what isn't -- and have the money to survive any negative treatment you'd get from publishers as a result.
Ehh, I saw the trailer for the new Tenchu game and it looked pretty bad. I just had this hugely underwhelming feeling about the whole thing. It's all about the controls, Tenchu never had great controls.
I honestly have no idea, I just think it's fucked up that nobody is bothering to cover it when you have hundreds of blogs actually post SOMEBODY HAS REVIEWED KILLZONE 2, OMG ANOTHER PERSON HAS.
Start your own gaming blog max
I've been thinking about it
But regardless, I found a review of Tenchu

Its a fun game but i didnt get into the extra mission stuff much when i beat it.

Sometimes I wonder what has brainwashed Wii fans to think a game like Tenchu, which was @PAR at best when it was released, is even worth bringing into an argument.
The Wii's built is solid.....because it contains no features. If the Wii had HD components, games worth playing longer than 30 minutes at a time, DVD/Blu-Ray playback, etc,etc then IT WOULD PROBABLY HAVE MORE ISSUES DON'T YOU THINK?
Games are garbage= system is garbage.
If you're just going to call people who view situations differently brainwashed then I wonder what you're actually even trying to do. My point had little to do with the quality of the game; Tenchu may have been an originally middling game series but so was Killzone. My argument is simply about the lack of coverage of the games on the Wii and games that are less advertised in general.
Your hyperbole is not helpful in this discussion
say what ya want about the wii but hasnt it sold more consoles then any other system ever made?
Not that it's really relevant to the discussion of game quality, but no it hasn't:
