I don't live in gville anymore. The place is hella sketchy looking, but it's run by great guys. I'm having a hard time remembering what it was called. We just called it the "Keg Place."

a buddy of mine who was stationed in korea brought back with him a gallon of soju. its a distilled rice wine, kind of like sake but a bit sweeter. you could compare it to vodka i guess but i found that the best way to drink this stuff is to mix it with cherry kool aid. drink enuf of it and it will put you on your ass. most of the soju sold here in the states in no more than 25% alcohol per volume but this stuff he brought back with him was 40% or higher i think. but if you can get your hands on some soju and cherry koolaid i suggest you give it a try

Thread is tl;dr so Im sure most of what Im about to say has been said.

Carbombs I know people have said, and there's a reason. Fucking delicious and will definitely help you out.

I tweaked the old Cranberry and Vodka while at a party and rummaging the fridge while drunk. Vodka, Cranberry juice, promagranate green tea, splash of lime juice, and slice of lime on top. More of something to drink when you're the one throwing the party.

Kamikazes are my new favorite shot to do, except they go down like juice... so be careful. Vodka, Triple Sec and Lime Juice. Also I've seen/heard of them being made with Tequila instead of Vodka.

And if you're splurging for your b-day, enjoy it. Fuck Grey Goose, Ketel One hands down. I was out pretty early on my 21st, hope you last longer! =)

that's xtra liquors, just south of archer and yeah it is extremely sketch, the same bums hang out outside most nights...idk about kegs though, I only buy bottles there

So you're looking to get drunk.

Here's a few recommendations.

Don't drink anything with :
Ameretto
Irish Cream
Fruit-flavored mixing liquors (DeKuyper's stuff, Pucker's etc)
or a LOT of sugar

That will lead to a NASTY hangover. All the sugar overloads your system and that coupled with the alcohol will leave you feeling hazy for sometimes a few days.

I recommend you start out with some beer and straight spirits like vodka.

Having been a bartender at one of the most high-volume college bars around I can tell you that all those girls who drink Amaretto Sours, Melonball and Baybreezes are the ones who put on the freshman fifteen pretty damn fast. The girls who drink beer and shoot whiskey stay skinny and talk a lot of shit on those fatties.

tl;dr : Drink beer and straight liquor and don't be fat.

Forget to mention, drinking a medium sized Gatorade before you go to bed can prevent or alleviate hangover. It had never failed me no matter how drunk I was.
