    Couch Slipcover Alternatives?

Around a year ago I received a couch from some friends who were moving and decided to take it. It wasn't in bad condition and my room was pretty bare for the size of it. It's black leather as well, pretty comfy in the non-broken spots.

Looking online at target where my mother suggested, they all are pretty expensive and dont have exactly what I'm looking for. It was an L-Shaped couch, with 2 individual seats. One seat remains with arms on both sides, and the other seat just has an arm on the left side, which extends and raps around a corner. Confusing I'm sure, I'm not the best at wording things.

tl;dr Any recommendations on what I could do to cover it? I don't want to just throw a sheet over it; maybe a sheet that I could tuck in/staple/sort of reupholster? I just want it to look nice, with the option of a variety of solid colors for whatever will cover it.

Decided to just take pictures so maybe I could get better advice.

Get a couple of nice, matching, solid-colour bedsheets. Could be satin if you want it really fancy, but people will slip off. Then just tuck in where it needs to be tucked in. Black would work best for obvious reasons. If the broken spots stick out and are uncomfortable, tape them down before you cover up. It's best to just fold the covers into the areas so that they can be cleaned, but if you're really lazy, just staple them in place

When we bought ours we went to Bed Bath & Beyond and we got them for dirt cheap, because we looked in the clearance section. We got the one for our full size couch for $15, and we ended up paying ~$45 for the one for our loveseat. We almost got the loveseat one on clearance because the cashier was a moron. =P We found the clearance section over by the bed-in-a-bag area.

Or you could just use sheets.

I remember reading somewhere that you can make the sheets stay in place better if you
push a piece of PVC pipe behind the seat cushions to hold them down.
