Got this last night not expecting much at all, but wanting to build up my PS3 library. Have to say I'm in love with it so far. Had to force myself to beat Bioshock so that I could put that down for a while (fourthing the whole Bioshock is mediocre/not game of the year). End up playing for ~12hrs and getting 119/240 riddles solved. Can't wait to play it more :D.

The third encounter with Scarecrow was insane. I thought my PS3 fried on me at first, then the "use the left analog to dodge the bullet" had me going, too.

If I had any gripe, I'd say Croc's Lair was too friggin' long; especially having to walk through it. There were a few times where he popped up from a direction I couldn't see and I'd lose about 200m of progress.

Kind of pissed. I was planning on sitting around yesterday to play but I never got the chance since my sister in law decided that would be a good time to have her baby. So, no Batman for me yesterday. No games at all actually until about eight when I sat down and played a little bit of WoW.

idk man, being an uncle > vidja games.....

Also, I fucking loved the first part of the 3rd scarecrow encounter..(even if the platforming itself got annoying as hell midway through the 2nd one..) is that what the joker challenge maps play like?

Oh no, I'm happy about being an uncle. That's make it twice this year for me. Just kind of bemoaning the fact that they had told her on Friday that she wasn't going to go for another week at least. The wife and I had gone out with friends for dinner and she had gotten pretty hammered up and only had about an hour of sleep before my sister in law called us and told us they were on their way to the hospital at about two in the morning.

I started playing this on late Thursday night. So when I got home from work on Friday, I pretty much sat down and destroyed the game. Was a damn fun experience. Some of the fights against armed gunmen were a bit annoying. Beat the game with 240/240 so all I got left are the challenges. The predator challenges have some ridiculous requests for medals too.

    Spoiler: show
I just got past the Botanical Gardens this weekend and heading to Intensive Care ward now. From what I read here, it seems like Joker's party is the best place to attempt getting the Freeflow 40 achievement.

Also, do you get any kind of ranged controlled explosion gadget at some point?

sequel will have exploding batarangs I'm sure.

Outside of the armed gunmen encounter where the gargoyles are boobytrapped I loved them, honestly I felt the most like Batman in those encounters, sowing confusion/fear amongst the villains as I darted around the shadows.

If you're talking about finding a way to break those walls that are too high for the gel, you get an upgrade to one of your other items later to take care of those.

Should figured as much. I assumed that the exploding sonic batarangs would have taken care of those.

On Scarecrow encounter 3: Try doing that on a 360, months after having a RROD. I was swearing, thinking my 360 just shit the bed.

damn some combat challenges are hard, at least the predator challenges are fun and sort of easy.

Finished up all of the Challenges, got 100%, now just to finish it up on Hard... Already 1/3 of the way through in one sitting.

Overall, I loved the game, but the boss fights were HORRIBLE. It's basically the same fight x 4, and one with a little variety. The ending was crap too, but I suppose you can't have it all. Can't wait for the inevitable sequel!

By far the worst challenge of them all. The point requirement is incredibly easy, but beating the timer in the last Round is what got me most of the time. Just work on building that combo meter quick, and use the quick takedowns on the knife and stun rod guys.

I turned off my 360 3 times before just sitting through it and realizing it was part of the game

Random question.... For those of you who played inFamous, w/would you go for: Infamous or Batman? Only have time to play one game atm and torn between w/to get. I know they are totally different games, but just going by w/one offers a more enjoyable experience while actually playing. Thanks!

I liked Infamous it was a good PS3 exclusive. Playing Batman right now, taking my time with it and I am really, really enjoying it. If you are a fan of Batman then I would pick it up first. Play it on hard so you can avoid the "it's too easy syndrome"

you should go with batman 1st since its shorter than infamous, but it's hard to chose which one is better since they are different and both of them are awesome
