Of fucking course the boss battles are shitty. If you play games for the epic bosses then you probably only enjoy 1 or 2 games a year and I feel sorry for you. I don't like it either, but it's par for the course.

Bane was awesome in his character design and the way they introduced him. Again that may be the nostalgia talking, but I'm sticking to it.

Well it certainly isn't comics nostalgia. Maybe the crappy Batman movie he was in?

I thought the fight was rather fun for the first actual boss fight. It was probably like that to get people to use the quick throw batarang mechanic.

Which is why you fight the same type of boss at least three more times lol. The final boss is the highest evolution, where you don't even need to throw the batarang! Just run in circles, beat up dudes from level 1, then shot rope.



Also lol at the babies who get so defensive instantly if I dare insult THEIR GAME. Though feel free to continue to ignore me by replying to me. That always works.



Finally, the Bioshock comment doesn't make much sense no matter how many contexts I try to apply it to. Just some dude filling up the review with garbage because he's the type of reviewer who would think this game is a 9+... the type of dude who doesn't know shit about beat em ups or action games. "I was playing Mortal Kombat vs DC, it is this year's Katamari Damashii."

Just cracked it open. Cinematics during the fighting are highly enjoyable, nice intense soundtrack, good dialogue and voice work. Not far into it but I'm hooked. Probably just going to be a renter but we'll see how it fleshes out further in.

Oh the art and scenery are pretty god damn amazing as well. As far as a gaming experience it def sucks you right in.

Notice I'm spending loads of the game on Detective Mode, but I'm nuts about secrets so I spend 30m~ on each map looking for the Riddler's clues.

Some of you are trying way to hard to fault this game. I set aside some time for packing to play for a few hours, and all in all I'm finding the game highly enjoyable. Hunting down Riddler's riddles and trophies is fun, and the "predator" sequences are quite enjoyable if you just stop and try to think of all the ways to mess with people instead of just relying on the same takedowns over and over again.

Ya it's a bit faster paced, I believe that's also the very first encounter of the game so easy + slowed for tutorial makes it look mega-gay.

Just beat it, didn't like the end, but eh, whatev.. Back to studying.

As for replay, duno.. Beat it in.. around 9hrs, and found 170/240 of the riddles. It's almost not worth looking for riddles until you get all the gadgets, otherwise you just frustrate yourself.

I just finished it as well, took 8 1/2 hrs, the ending was pretty shitty, but overall it was a decent game, was worth a rental and I doubt I'll play through it again. Time to wait for dragon age to release ;(

Only got to pop it in for maybe an hour while moving last night, but I am enjoying, seems to be alternate ways you can go as well which is nice for a second playthrough.

Just got to the party last night. Took me 4 retries before I realized you don't have to fight, haha. I want the damn achievement though. >_< I can't get any further, I keep getting decimated. :/

Finally had a chance to play the demo. Was a little on the easy side, as previously said, but it was pretty awesome. I will be putting some pennies aside to grab a copy soon...

What system are you playing on? I know PS3 has auto-save, and it does it everytime you see that swirly icon in the bottom right corner. Not sure if there is an option to disable it or not.

360, there is a swirly thing in teh corner but it did not save, im fucking pissed.
