I think this was one of the best episodes of Psych I have ever seen.

This show was sorely lacking that by splitting up the boys for the episode. It's also why we rarely ever see them date, even though Shawn has a girlfriend. Gus needs some love on the show. Hook Gus up with a hot girlfriend, please.

I sorta felt the same, it wasn't the typical Psych episode, but I still liked it. They've pulled a few too many "I've heard it both ways" joke, probably need a short break from that lol.

My favorite one was the serial killer that targeted Shawn's mom. It was pretty dramatic while staying true to what makes Psych great.

Gus was so good in that episode. He totally made up for the entire cast being very serious.

I don't mind these dramatic episodes so much. After a season of nothing but comedy it's good to change it up a bit. Plus, the episode had a lot of moments that made me laugh (Shawn's dad locking him in the car while the neighbour watched etc). Sucks that there won't be new Psych for a while, when it's coming back? Spring next year?

I would've thought Lassie and Shawn's dad would've gotten along a lot more tho.. Seeing as how the dad is a by-the-book cop and so is Lassie... Were they trying to be the comedic role of Shawn and Gus?

Shawn's dad is by-the-book for a cop. But he's going to use everything he can to get his son back, which includes using his instincts and trusting in his sons abilities (which he trained him into having). The major difference between Lassie and Shawn's dad is that one doesn't want to trust Shawn at anything where Shawn's dad knows Shawn has a wide assortment of skills and knowledge and his disposal. That makes them go into the search with a completely different view.
