    Last nights episode was great. I liked seeing a Gus centric episode, and his new girlfriend was hilarious. Can't wait till next week.

    It's when he's talking to the fisherman and he's saying how there's a harem of seals by the reef. The guy says how he remembered something about a pod of seals by the reef and shawn is like "i'm fairly sure it's a harem of seals" and the guy's like "Eh! I've heard it either way." Shawn just had this look like "wow, that just happened." and I cracked up audibly.

    Am I the only one who was completely underwhelmed with this episode? The whole Mary thing was blatantly a misdirect, it never felt that suspenseful, and the whole "You can only save 1" thing is retarded, if the way to save both is just to split up. It felt like a total letdown, and returning to the Yin Yang bit was just a ploy for a 'good' finale

    If it wasn't a finale, I think it would have been a fine episode. I don't get the ending either though, that would be kinda crazy if the Yin or Yang killer was actually his mom/dad, but I would think that'd come up during the Yang episode. I guess leaving a cliffhanger was supposed to make it an interesting finale, but it was too vague to really work.

    Regarding Yin:

    On the commentary on USA's Psych website, the writers James Roday & Andy Berman mentioned Yin & Yang is supposed to be a trilogy, and it's going to be dealt with sooner rather than later in Season 5, i.e. it's most likely not going to be the finale for S5. They said they were looking to cast an 80s TV star (male) for the role, and the reason they didn't show Yin is they didn't want to be locked into an actor when who they want to cast is still up in the air. All signs point to Yin being a dude.

    Also, on Twitter, psychwrites (Psych writer's room) mentioned that Yin is not Madeline (Shawn's mom) or Henry, along with answering a bunch of other questions - some serious, some not.

    I felt kind of stupid for thinking it was Mary, though I thought it was him the first time too. I just thought it was his mom because of the picture at the end, it just seemed weird(er) if a stranger had it like that. Making him choose between the two girls just seemed like a strange momish kind of thing to do too.

    I guess it was kind of lame, but if anything I guess it'll build character relations. Juliet broke down crying to Lassiter and Shawn doesn't have a girlfriend anymore. I'm sure there will be more tension next season with Juliet because she almost died because of Shawn.

    what are you getting at there? But no I dont think anybody else saw him. But yea I really didnt like the way it ended.. far too much left in the open.

    I wont lie tho, I fell for it, I almost thought it was Buzz for a second there when he picked up abigail..

    Juliet's had a rough season, first she thought she got that virus a couple episodes back, and now this lol.
