Of course, Eastern didn't drop after that. 1/1 on Western and my MNK is 29. I feel I need to level it to atleast 50 so they don't collect dust :\

I got my V.Bow from Nyzul. That and Imperial Ring are the only two decent drops I've ever seen from assault =(

my group does 4 runs on tuesday nights, and 4 runs on saturday nights.... including random farming boss floors, we are nearing out 2nd climb....and have only appraised 1 item that was good (Bloodbead Ring) have yet to obtain anything good, including 0/5 on Vbow.

Seen Ungur's Boomerang and Viking Shield Appraise on the same run.... LS mates got 2 vbows within a week and ive had the opportunity to see one Vbow appraise during my 1/25+ attempts at 36-40 for Denali Kecks.

Honestly id do both - Eastern Shadow likes to pop up on 36-40 runs and its worth a shot. Its always non-Rangers that get them though ._.

Ugh srsly diaf, I went 1/25 on Retaliators and spent about 3-4 solid weeks in there.

In that time I got talking with a guy camping ES, I think he went about 0/13. I noticed he wasn't camping there for a while so I asked if he got it and told my his nyzul static went 2/4 on ??? bows, I assume they just got insanely lucky.
