Sandworm item dupe

I could see them saying that they fixed the dupe exploit, yet not doing shit about it. Banning the 1000 players was enough of an 'oh shit' for people not even to attempt it again. Chances are you can still dupe in Salvage and Nyzul as well....that's my guess anyway.

This thread is one example of how easily players could accidentally and innocently trigger the glitch, no one 'attempted' it. They need to fix this if they want to continue banning characters for such activities, more so given how inept they were at judging the ban distribution the first time around.

Possibly retarded question, but did they check logs for salvage dupes only, or did they take into account the people who were duping in Sandworm, Nyzul and Ashu Talif as well? I did read the LM-17 thread but I can't honestly say that I remember anyone getting banned for JUST sandworm or JUST ashu talif, most of the people who came out with what they were doing were nyzul and salvage. If the bug still works in nyzul as well as someone pointed out, that's one thing, but what if they chose to basically ignore and not fix sandworm due to lack of manpower or an upcoming round of bannings?

Think he meant that the JP player that got a duped item in question was given the ok to keep the item. Moreso even, that the JP GM was like 'congratulations' about it while the NA GM was like "it's up to you."

Dont need 3rd party tools to take screenshots of in game things.

1) open FF with SE windower
2) open up/view what you want to screenshot
3) click on desktop
4) press "Printscreen"
5) Open MSPaint and paste

I highly doubt you could consider an OS default program as "3rd party"

I've heard of someone being banned for simply being there. Never got a drop and only did 1 run with the group. While the people who have been getting drops thru this, still play.

How could they possibly screenshot it? The guy was asleep, the chat log would show nothing, and two people in your LS having Tathlums proves nothing. Shit, you can't even screenshot two people having Tathlums as proof that your LS has two Tathlums. Just go replicate it and call the GMs with "I accidentally the sandworm" if you want proof without punishment.
That, or abuse it in secret during the year it'll take SE to patch it, then get banned in 14 months.
